In Yoast SEO 6.3, we have removed the feature to noindex subpages of archives. This explains why you are now getting duplicate title/description on your category pages. This issue can be solved by using template variables on those pages. You may want to add the %%page%% variable.

This feature has been removed from Yoast SEO in version 6.3. Please refer to this article: https://yoast.com/yoast-seo-6-3/
Hi Bridget,
It’s annual. All our premium subscriptions, including Yoast SEO Premium, have to be renewed every year. If you choose not to renew your subscription after a year, the plugin will still work, but you’ll no longer receive plugin updates and support from us.All our plugins do not collect any personal data that affect the GDPR regulations. We only collect information regarding your sites environment, PHP version, and installed plugins.
This is most likely caused by a conflict with your other plugins or your theme. Try running a conflict check.

If a certain URL has been set as noindex, that shouldn’t be crawled anymore by Google. You can just mark it as “Fixed” in Google Search Console and make sure it’s set as noindex.
This could be caused by a conflict with your other plugins or with your theme but before we check for conflicts, can you please make sure you’re running the latest version of WordPress (4.9.4), Yoast SEO (6.3), and the latest version of your theme?
If all are up-to-date, please perform a conflict check. We recommend using the Health Check plugin as it allows you to run a conflict check without affecting normal visitors to your site. Please refer to this kb article: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts/#conflict-check.
