Under the main “general” tab of W3TC at the top there is a button labeled “compatibility check.” Click that and it will tell you what Server Modules & Resources are installed and what are required. It sounds like you have required dependencies not installed. You will have to install the missing ones if you manage your own server or contact your hosting company.
I believe that all options are disabled by default.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Blank Page & APCI had the same issue, as well as server error 500, and an engineer looked into it and advised to change my PHP handler from the FastCGI to DSO. I am not advocating you move to DSO because it has security issues when hosting multiple sites on the same server, but it did fix my problem. I run a single site on a VPS so it isn’t an issue for me.
Wish I could help with that but, I don’t even know enough coding to even be dangerous yet. 🙂
Thanks again for your help.
Thanks for the options, but I found a very good alternative that I have been using. It is a Perl script called Wesley that allows directory by directory optimization. It uses the following packages (jpegtran, gifsicle, pngcrush, and ImageMagick) to handle the optimization of supported image types. It isn’t within the WordPress admin panel but does what I need it to very well.
Thanks for your help!
After all of this troubleshooting, it appears that CloudFlare’s Rocket Loader service was causing the Google Adsense ads from being displayed primarily in FireFox. It was a coincident that it went bad at the same time as all the changes that I was making on the site. I am unsure what the root cause of the reCAPTCHA issue is. I have successfully uninstalled the plugin and have moved on to a premium forms plugin that isn’t conflicting.
Prior to installing the plugin, all aspects of my website were functional. I install the Custom Contact Forms plugin and it caused a conflict with other plugins that used reCAPTCHA. I decided to deactivate and remove the plugin. At that point, my Google Adsense ads were no longer visible on any pages. Through a lot of troubleshooting, I found that if I re-installed and activated the plugin, then deactivated but not delete it the ads reappeared. I am sure that it is a Java Script issue.
1) Is it a problem to leave the plugin installed, but not active?
2) If I want to remove the plugin, how might I troubleshoot to find the root cause of the issue to fix it.Are you using WordPress Cron or cPanel/operating system Cron? The WordPress Cron requires traffic through the site to trigger it.
I am using a PHP script that has been working well for me. I have a VPS and I don’t know if my method will work on a hosted account. I didn’t have any luck with any warmer plugin.
It appears that the issue wasn’t only a CSS issue. It has now come to my attention that one of my premium plugins can no longer render a reCAPTCHA codes while this plugin is activated, regardless if the reCAPTCHA keys are filled in or not under the general settings tab.
I have used the support form tab in the plug in to submit a ticket, but thought that someone in the forums might have a solution.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated in resolving this issue.
Thanks in advance
ScottAfter speaking with the new caretakers of Nextgen Gallery, they advised that this could cause an SEO issue. They did say that this item would be put on the future features list, but way at the bottom. 🙂

I was able to find that this was a CSS issue in my theme that specifically related to the “help” button dropped way down.
No worries, thanks! I was able to utilize a membership plugin that didn’t rely on WordPress users.
Does anyone have any advise that they can give on this matter? Thanks in advance for any help.
My goal is to have an advanced search feature/page only available to people that I grant access to. I was thinking about granting access to this page via users that are logged in.
I worked with my host provider to determine the errors in the log are not my, but that they may be causing unnecessary stress on the server. The error was causing dozens errors a second. They will solve this issue. Please let me know if there is anything else that I can try. Thanks again for all your help thus far.
