I just checked my cPanel and do not see any performance issues like CPU throttling.
I do see several of these errors a second however they were also in the last log posted…
[Mon May 21 15:12:02 2012] [warn] RewriteCond: NoCase option for non-regex pattern ‘-f’ is not supported and will be ignored.
Do I need to check something out? I will check stats.
Here is what is in the error log.
It is a hosted server with cpanel. There is an error log in there. Is that what you are looking for?
Ok, I am very new with this. Where would the log that you need be located? I do really appreciate the help.
Oh, I didn’t realize it would be so easy. 🙂 I have downloaded and installed the development version. The problem persists.
I would love to help out in anyway possible. Are there special instructions for acquiring or loading the new version? I should be able to do it this evening after work. Let me know.
here is the link. I was thinking it was a security issue. 🙂
There is a ton of information in this file. It appears to be created by W3TC. There are a couple of 301 redirects at the top that I created via my host provider. Is there a way for me to get this to you? I am guessing that this is something that shouldn’t be posted here?

The issue I am trying to correct is the error caused when the page-sitemap.xml link is clicked in the sitemap_index.xml. When clicked, the page-sitemap.xml does not generate a working page but, displays the error “HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error)” in the browser window.
Here is the status for each of the sitemap_index pages in regards to my site.
sitemap_index.xml – displays correctly and links can be followed
post-sitemap.xml – displays correctly and links can be followed
page-sitemap.xml – does not display, generates HTTP Error 500, and no links are created.
category-sitemap.xml – displays correctly and links can be followed
ngg_tag-sitemap.xml – displays correctly and links can be followedIn your previous post, you advised me to do 3 things, 1) disable all plugins, 2) switch to the default theme, and 3)then go to settings -> permalinks.
I have completed items 1 and 2 on the list, but i do not know what you are asking me to do in item 3. With items 1 and 2 completed, the problem persists.
Thanks again and sorry if I created confusion.
Thanks so much for your answer. I have done everything that you listed, disable all plugins and switched to Twenty Eleven theme. However, I was unclear of what you wanted me to do with “Then go to settings -> permalinks”.
At this point, the “/page-sitemap.xml” doesn’t load with the same 500 error. Please let me know. Thanks again for your help.
Does any one know how to resolve the HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error)? I cannot seem to get this feature working. Thanks for any assistance that can be provided.
Any further items that might cause this to not function correctly? I have added the <?php , but that has cause my child theme to break. Thanks again for any assistance that can be provided.
It appears that I neglected to add the style_css link so here it is.
