In reply to: Lost and Confused with WordPress install on BluehostI did a search of their helpdesk, and here are the links to wordpress and you could type in simplescripts too. You might just call, chat or send them a ticket from their main page. https://my.bluehost.com/cgi/help/search?sort=&search=wordpress&x=0&y=0&search_all=1&search_kb=1&search_video=1&search_started=1

In reply to: Multisite Subdirectory domain mapping with BluehostI use WP quite a lot, and I am sorry, but I have never heard of WP having “virtual folders.” Could someone tell me if this is inaccurate.
When I go to those 2 websites, they look the same. So I am assuming from what you said that you made them “parked” domains. When ever you add a domain as “parked” it does NOT create a subfolder for any thing. It just simply redirects the the main hosted account (as long an you don’t change anything, like zone files).
I think you should contact Bluehost and double check to see if there really are “virtual” folders. I just tried on one of my accounts with my Bluehost Control Panel in the domains section, and it did NOT create any folder at all.
If those 2 domains are really “parked” they should show the same page as your main domain, and they don’t. So, did you just change their nameservers, say within the last 24 hours? If so then what is displayed on the internet could be from the old server, and all you have to do is just wait for them to resolve. Generally no more than 24 hours. But, if you changed them some time ago, then definitely contact Bluehost.

In reply to: Justhost.com / lack of pagesThis might be simplistic, but have you changed or at least checked your nameservers lately? Sometimes something simple like that will be the problem. let us know what you find out

In reply to: WordPress running extremely slow (bluehost)40-70 thousand people visit your site daily and the last two blog post don’t have a single comment, even though there’s a half naked woman in it?
Either you’re pulling my leg, or your visitors are not human.Sounds like you are violating their TOS… they (and many hosting companies) do not allow adult content… so maybe that is why you have so many visitors and not one comment???
If you were to make them pages of the primary domain, then they could be under the umbrella of the SSL from the primary domain. But any addon or sub-domain is an entirely different “domain” on the internet. I don’t know if that would help you or not.
Here is a link to their helpdesk: https://my.bluehost.com/cgi/help/600
Bluehost only allows an SSL certificate for the Primary Domain Name. At this time we do not allow for an SSL certificate to be installed on an Addon, Parked or Sub Domain.
