Hey Dan, I’ve been troubleshooting and still can’t figure it out!
I’ve uninstalled and removed tables from the database before reinstalling.
Estimates don’t have the issue.
If I change the status from Pending to Paid, it displays but gets stuck in Paid and won’t go back to pending if changed.
The strangest thing is the new responsive template doesn’t display when creating invoices. When a new invoice is created it shows the old standard template. Even after deleting and reinstalling.

Following are the troubleshooting steps I’ve taken:
1. Tested with all other plugins disabled
2. Tested with default 2017 theme (and all other plugins disabled)
3. Updated the PayPal checkout addon to the current version
4. Checked php error logs – there were no errors
5. Checked functions.php for print button fuction – not thereI don’t have any custom themes or theme customizations.
The issue persists.I appreciate your help!
I’m having this issue as well. Invoices got ‘locked’ as paid when set as paid in admin.
In the Invoice Payments area, the payment is in Scheduled where it cannot be deleted (no Void Payments option).

If this happens to anyone, it is being caused by the Related Posts feature within JetPack. To turn it off, go to:
JetPack > Related Posts > Configure and untick – Show a “Related” header to more clearly separate the related section from post.Great Support DAN! Keep Rocking.

1. Login to your web host control panel:
http://www.mysite.com/cpanel (if you have cpanel)
FTP DIDN’T WORK
2. open the file manager
3. navigate to the wp-content folder
4. delete the upgrade folder
5. create a new folder called upgrade
6. change permissions to: chmod 777
7. go back to wordpress admin and upgrade plugins.Ta da!
