I checked: the adblocker is called
adblocker for Chrome – noAds
by: adblocker.I just installed it again and the same thing happened. Mail poet and social media buttons gone!
Please do something about this because this is the top adblocker offered in the chrome webstore, so I am sure a lot of people are using it.
Definitely not a co-incidence. I use mailpoet on three websites. On all three the subscription box (and the social media buttons as well but that is a different plugin) had disappeared. After removing the adblocker, the mail poet subscriber box (and the social media buttons) were immediately visible again.
Also, while my own subscription box was invisible I noticed that I was still getting subscribers. On my husbands PC the subscription was also visible. So it was clear it had something to do wiht my computer. This is how we figured out that it was the adblocker.
Well, if the website with the old version of the plug-in is searchable then that should give us a clue how it can be fixed. Ofer, are you reading this? What have you changed that you could change back and fix the issue?
Hectorgarrofe: which old version are you using?
I have been trying to get my translated pages to rank for half a year now. Not a single one can be found (at all) in any of the google searches.
Ofer is trying to help but something is very wrong. The translated pages clearly are not searchable.
I figured it out myself – I need to wrap the no-translate code around the english link. It works now.
Where is Ofer? He seems to have gone missing??
Just wanted to say that I was able to restore a backup through my webhost and that all the original translations are restored.
But I would appreciate an idea how this can be avoided in the future. I did not see anyone else complaining about this on the forum – so I am wondering if I did something wrong.
Also, how do you restore the backup that are mentioned in the settings?

In reply to: [Transposh WordPress Translation] Pages are indexed but not searchableI have been told I need to do link-building to the translated pages but I have a feeling that it must be a more basic thing as not a single of my pages show up in the search results when I click ‘show only pages in german’.
Someone else said there was some sort of redirect on the pages and I would need to switch that off. I have of course no idea how to do this.
Any ideas could be much appreciated.
I have read somewhere in the google guide-lines that google prefers you not to use the automatically translated pages as it looks to google like spam.
Best to check that out yourself.
I myself have the problem that none of my translated pages appear in the (german) serps even though they are indexed. I was told from a SEO expert that I need to start link-building to the German pages but I think that should not be necessary to appear at all.
Are your pages searchable? Do you have a clue why mine aren’t?
