Sorry to jump in, but has there been a fix for this? I use the latest version and still have this issue apparently.

In reply to: Call to undefined function body_class()Sorry. I guess I assumed “new installation” would indicate it wasn’t an upgrade π
Anyway, problem solved by downloading new wp and uploading all the files again.

In reply to: Blank dashboard page after updating to 2.3.2My wp-admin is blank (wp 2.3.2 at uae24hrs.com). It was working fine, then I didn’t access it for a while but posted with ecto without problems. Now I need to fix some things and it’s just blank. Tried some things suggested in these forums but so far without luck?
Anyone with same/similar problem and solutions? I have some other wp sites but don’t want to update them now until I know what the problem is.

In reply to: uploaded file could not be movedI had this problem, changed wp-content and uploads to 777 but it hasn’t helped. Any other ideas of what could be wrong?

In reply to: Turn pages on/offYes ceo, that would work to, but again the idea would be to not have to copy and paste and stuff. For example, I have the syllabi for the courses I teach posted as Pages. The syllabi change little between semesters and I largely teach the same coures. When a semester is over I’d like to just turn the whole group of pages off for that course so they don’t appear on the site. Then I want to be able to work on them (in WordPress without having to copy and paste to somewhere) until the next semester starts when I want to just turn the group on again (again without copy/paste).
To me this seems like a pretty basic content management/publishing feature.
All that said, I’m incredibly grateful that the Pages function was put in there to start with π

In reply to: Turn pages on/offThanks for the suggestion podz, and yes that would work, but the idea would be to not have to leave WP at all π

In reply to: Turn pages on/offI guess that could work, but for me it’s probably more work than it’s worth π

In reply to: Help with site adviceCan’t really help you with your problem, but remember it’s not the inches of the screen that matters really – it’s the pixels. So you can set your 17″ to 800×600 and see what your site looks like for users with that resolution.

In reply to: Weird things with category-displayThe problem doesn’t exist if I use the old “pre-1.5” theme.

In reply to: Weird things with category-displayBTW, I’ve checked what WP saves in the database, and it saves it ok (which I guess it would if it shows up ok on the first page and in the individual posting page π
