Hello there,
Thank you for being so patient. I am Milos from the Elementor Technical Customer Experience team. I’d be happy to assist you in this case.
This is happening because your memory limit has been reached. To fix this, try the following methods.
- Increase the WP memory limit to match Elementor’s system requirements. Activate the debug mode of WordPress to check how many MB you need exactly. Contact your hosting provider for further assistance. For details, refer Debugging in WordPress.
- Decrease or clear the number of post revisions stored in the database. When there are too many revisions stored, the hosting memory may become exhausted, which can lead to this error. You can use the available plugins to resolve this issue. For example, WP Sweep. To use this plugin, watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xt4U4e8NSIQ
- If the issue still occurs after increasing the memory, divide your work into a few templates and paste them into another page.
I am looking forward to hearing back from you soon.
Kind regards,

Hi,
Thank you for your patience,
Even though the memory limit was increased to 1024MB, the error indicates that WordPress is still exhausting the available PHP memory during the Elementor data update. This usually means that the new memory limit is either not actually being applied to the active PHP process, or that the effective server-level memory limit is lower than expected. In some cases, the update process may also be consuming unusually high memory due to large amounts of data, a plugin conflict, or a server configuration issue.
To properly verify this, we recommend checking the active PHP configuration using a temporary phpinfo file to confirm the actual memory_limit value in use and identify which php.ini file is loaded. If the limit is lower than 1024M, it should be updated in the correct location depending on the server setup.
This may involve adjusting the value in wp-config.php using WP_MEMORY_LIMIT and WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT, updating the memory_limit directive in a .user.ini file, modifying it via .htaccess if the server allows it, or changing it directly from the hosting control panel such as cPanel or Plesk. After making changes, it’s important to recheck phpinfo to ensure the new limit is applied.
If the memory limit is confirmed to be 1024M and the issue persists, the problem may be caused by a plugin or theme conflict or an unusually large dataset. In that case, temporarily switching to a default theme and deactivating all plugins except Elementor can help isolate the issue.
Please let us know the current memory_limit value shown in phpinfo, your server environment (for example Apache with mod_php or PHP-FPM), and where the memory limit was modified so we can provide more precise guidance.
Best regards,

Hi there,
Thanks for contacting us, and we hope you are doing well and having a great day.
To rule out the possibility of a plugin or theme conflict, please deactivate all your plugins (besides Elementor and Elementor Pro). If it solves the issue reactivate them one by one to find the culprit. If it didn’t help, switch your theme (temporarily) to a default WP theme such as Twenty Nineteen and see if it makes any difference.
Also, this issue could be caused by two(but not limited to) things:
- Memory limit issue
- Caching
You may try the following steps to try and fix that issue:
- <span style=”box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;”>Increase Memory – Check the memory limit in the wp-config.php file and increase it to a higher value, e.g, 256M or 512M.</span> You may ask your server support team to check the issue themselves and fix it for you.
- Clear Caches – try going to Elementor ==> Tools then regenerate CSS then clear cache on any plugin you are using then refresh the browser and try loading Elementor again to see if it works.
Please let me know if it works.

Also, this could happen due to our Elementor performance experiments you can try to deactivate them. To deactivate them you can go to Elementor > settings > features
Performance features currently in the experimental stage are:
- Element Caching – Elements caching reduces loading times by serving up a copy of an element instead of rendering it fresh every time the page is loaded. When active, Elementor will determine which elements can benefit from static loading – but you can override this.
I am looking forward to hearing back from you soon.

Thank you for sharing your concerns we truly appreciate you taking the time to raise this.
To clarify, Data Sharing is disabled after Elementor is activated for the first time.
Hope this helps.
