Hey @c-tomoe,
Thank you for your response. In this case, I’d suggest reaching out to support and provide a screen recording of the process if possible so we can have a better understanding of the issue and can determine if the problem occurs when your switch profiles.
You can find the steps of how to submit a support request in my previous response.
Best regards,Hi @c-tomoe,
Thank you for reaching out to us for assistance. In this case, as long as your personal profile has a role on the Facebook page you don’t need to switch to your page profile. I’d suggest checking that you have a role for your personal profile and confirming that there is a page connected to the Instagram account at https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=profile when you are in the page profile.
If this doesn’t work we will need some more detailed information to troubleshoot this further. In that case, please send us a support request using the form on our website here, including the System Info. To obtain this information go to:1- WordPress DashBoard > Facebook Feed > click on the “Help” button in the upper right corner of the page. This takes you to our Support page.
2- Scroll down to the System Info section on the Support page. Click the Copy button on the right-hand side of the System Info title. We ask you to use our form as the System Info contains other website information and the Access Token for your connection which we do not suggest posting here.
Many thanks.

Hi @terrapop,
Thank you for reaching out to us for assistance. Regretfully at this moment, our plugin doesn’t have this customization option implemented. Nonetheless, I have registered this as a feature request, which means that this will be considered when we add new features to the plugin.
As we get many user requests for features, we consider these depending on the number of requests, feasibility, and the development time required for implementation. I appreciate your understanding, and we apologize for any inconveniences this may cause on your end.
Let me know if you have any other questions, and I’ll be more than happy to assist you further.

Hi @itskyle,
This type of issue is usually a conflict with your theme. Please try going to WordPress Dashboard > Instagram Feed > Customize, and in the Misc section, enable the option “Are you using an Ajax powered Theme?” Then click Save Changes. If that does not resolve the issue, try going back to the same area and enabling “Load initial posts with AJAX” and Save Changes again.
If you still have issues after this, it may be due to another specific conflict, and we will need some more detailed information to troubleshoot this further. In that case, please send us a support request using the form on our website here, including the System Info found in the plugin’s Support tab. In reply to: [Smash Balloon Social Photo Feed – Easy Social Feeds Plugin] Shop instagramHi @sergiom87,
Thank you for reaching out to us for assistance. This feature is called Shoppable Feeds and is available in the Pro version of our Instagram Feed plugin. Currently, there is not a specific demo of this on our site, but you can find more information on the feature here – https://smashballoon.com/doc/make-a-shoppable-feed/.
Basically, when you have this feature enabled, you can put a URL in the caption of your Instagram post, and then clicking on the post in the Instagram feed will send the user to that URL, instead of opening the post in a lightbox or linking directly to Instagram.
If you don’t want to use the Pro version of our plugin, we have a custom solution to manually link photos to a different URL using JavaScript; you can find more information about this here – https://smashballoon.com/doc/link-instagram-photos-to-custom-urls/.I hope this information is helpful, and if I can answer any other questions or concerns, please let me know.
Best regards,
Hi @aarty20,
Thank you for reaching out to us for assistance. Files added to the uploads folder do not automatically appear in the Media Library because they must also be registered in WordPress’ database. If you would like these images to appear in the Media Library, there is a plugin available that can help you do this called Add From Server – https://wordpress.org/plugins/add-from-server/.
I hope this information helps. If you have any other questions or concerns, let me know, and I’ll be happy to assist.
Best regards,
Hi @boghi,
Thank you for reaching out to us for assistance. The problem here seem to be the screenreaders as they only should show “Reply”. In this case, you can hide this message using a custom CSS snippet or change the text using a custom JavaScript snippet.
If you want to hide this message from your site, please navigate to your WordPress Dashboard > Twitter feed > Customize > Copy the CSS snippet below into the Custom CSS box, then save the changes.
.ctf-screenreader {display:none !important;}
If you want to change the text of this message, please navigate to your WordPress Dashboard > Twitter feed > Customize > Copy the JS snippet below into the Custom JavaScript box, then save the changes.
$('.ctf-tweet-actions .ctf-reply .ctf-screenreader').each(function(){ $(this).html('Reply'); });If you need additional guidance or have any other questions please open a support ticket in our support portal here.
Best regards,Hi @jun-e-jay,
Thank you for reaching out to us for assistance. After checking your page in Safari, I noticed the problem is that images are being lazyloaded, and they have the incorrect source, as you can see in this screenshot https://a.supportally.com/sL8sEI.
Try to fix this by navigating to your WordPress dashboard > Instagram feed > Customize > Enable the option “Disable JS Image Loading” then save the changes.
If this doesn’t work, I’d suggest creating an exception for our plugin in your Lazy loading configuration. Let me know if you need additional guidance or have any other questions, and I’ll be more than happy to assist you further.

Hi @emserra,
Thank you for reaching out to us for assistance. After checking your site https://chalkpaint.es/ I couldn’t find any error in the console, and I’m able to see the Instagram feed above the page’s footer. Could you please share more details of the error you see in the console so I can investigate further, to keep your information private please share these details on our support page here.
If you are using Firefox, there may be a few reasons you are not able to see it:
-
You need to clear the local Browser cache as it may be showing an older version of the page.
-
You have a plugin/extension in your browser for Privacy Protection or Ad Blocking. These can cause images not to show from Instagram.
-
You are using Firefox, which has Enhanced Tracking Protection, as well as the ‘Facebook Container’ features which will block images from Facebook and Instagram unless a user disables the features / add the page to the container.
Best regards,
Hey @wesleysoccer,
Thank you for your response. After checking your Instagram post, I can see the image is being displayed correctly here, as the white borders are actually part of the image itself. Unfortunately, we don’t have a way to know that shouldn’t be displayed; in this case, if you want images to fill the entire square, I’d suggest uploading them normally to Instagram. We will adjust the portrait post to fit in a square once displayed on the feed.
This image might help to explain my point better. Let me know if you have any other questions, and I’ll be more than happy to assist you further.Best regards,
