Hey everyone,
Since the Facebook share counts are returning incorrectly is something coming from Facebook’s side of things we’re going to go ahead and close this topic. If you have any future issues please don’t hesitate to start up a new thread!

In reply to: [Create] Display OptionHey @bobclewley,
Thanks so much for reaching out and we totally appreciate the kind words! From the question, it sounds like you’re looking for a Recipe Index-type feature for the plugin (feel free to correct me if I’m wrong).
We don’t have a feature quite like that yet but that’s definitely something that’s been suggested by others and being looked into by our engineers.
While not a true recipe index per se, you could potentially have some similar behavior if you built a List within Create and used something like the Grid-style layout. From there you could add in the recipes you would want in that particular list which would then link over to those posts. 🙂
Hey @ledaki,
Could you forward over some URL examples?
Hey Robin,
With the non-Pro version of Grow Social we don’t offer the capability of adding Pinterest Titles or Descriptions to images. There was a slight bug in a previous release that made those options available but we’ve since fixed that in the 1.19.0 release.
Out of curiosity, is the person you’re working with supposed to be on the Pro version of the plugin as opposed to the Free version?
Additionally, you mentioned in your initial post that rolling back fixed the issue. Is she inputting these Pin Titles/Descriptions within Grow Social or is she using a different plugin entirely to handle this?
Awesome, so glad to hear it! If either of you happen to run into any additional issues please don’t hesitate to start a new thread and we’ll be happy to assist. 🙂
Hey everyone,
Thanks so much for your patience while we worked on this issue! You should now be able to try reauthorizing in Facebook as our engineers were able to pinpoint the source of the issue and resolve it.
Feel free to give things a try and let us know if you run into any further issues!

Hey Gus,
I’m just following up to let you know that we’ve been keeping track of the share count issue on Facebook’s side of things and it looks like, as far as we can tell, some of the Facebook share count changes were intentional.
It looks like Facebook was having an issue with their Graph API returning 0 shares for some posts above 100 shares which appears to be resolved. As far as posts that have under 100 shares, it looks like they also made a change here where the counts intentionally return 0 shares.
Since we use the Graph API to return those share counts for those posts, if Facebook decides to return “0” shares then that’s what we will use unfortunately.
If you’re still having any issues where posts over 100 shares still aren’t displaying properly feel free to send over a couple of example URLs over and I can take a peek!
Hey Thomas,
It’s been a bit since we’ve heard from you so we’re going to go ahead and close this thread, but if there’s anything else you need please feel free to open a new topic!
