Hey wpfspin!
Unfortunately, because both instances of the plugin use the same CSS ids and classes, changing one through CSS will automatically change both of them. While generally we don’t recommend setting up two forms on one page, you could try and test with MailChimp’s embedded form in conjunction with the WordPress plugin.
For more information on how to add the embedded form to your page, check out this link from our Knowledge Base:
How can I add my signup form to my website?: http://eepurl.com/gOGN
One thing to keep in mind, however, is that there are some (occasional) issues with the embedded form on some WordPress sites. If you have any other questions, though, don’t hesitate to give us a shout!

In reply to: [Analytics360] Analytics360 data not loading: Google API Rate Limit ExceededHey there!
Any way you could post a screenshot of what you’re seeing? If there’s some sensitive information in there, you can also email us a screenshot at examples[at]mailchimp.com. Just throw up a post in here after you send it, so I know to be on the lookout.
Cheers!
Awesome, glad to hear things got sorted!
Let us know if you run into any other weirdness. 🙂

Hey Gerardo & Manu —
Sorry for any confusing language.
What I meant to say was that it does look like some third-party plugins (such as “MailChimp Comment Optin” by Thomas Griffin and “MailChimp Widget” by James Lafferty) are causing some conflicts with Analytics 360. Since those are third-party plugins, I want to set the proper expectation that we can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to fix things completely on our end, but I’ll definitely get it in front of our developers. Unfortunately, I can’t provide any sort of ETA for now.
However, from testing in my own account, using the MailChimp List Subscribe plugin (which is provided by Crowd Favorite, but supported by MailChimp) in conjunction with Analytics 360, everything seems to work without a hitch.
Again, I’m happy to provide the following information to our developers and I appreciate your patience while we look into things.
Cheers
Hey there, Galiana!
I assume you’re talking about the text above the actual input box? If so, there’s a couple of options for taking care of that. To get rid of it entirely (which sounds more like option 2 you suggested), you’re going to want to apply a “display:none;” styling to field label class. Something like this should do the trick:
.mc_var_label { display: none;}That should give you something that looks a little something like this:

As far as adding some placeholder text to that area, unfortunately, that’s not something that the plugin supports natively. However, the fine WordPress community has come up with a little “hack” on how to get that information in there. It’s not something that I can support, but for more information to see if that fits your needs, check out this post:
Let us know if we can assist with anything else!

Hey there, Cassie.
Sorry to let this one slip under the radar for so long. I haven’t been able to replicate this same behavior on my end of things. Have things been resolved?
Hey guys,
Apologies for letting this slip under my radar for so long.
While the MailChimp Widget and MailChimp Comment Optin plugins are third-party plugins (and thus, not officially supported), I can certainly pass this information along to our developers.
Currently, it does appear that the MailChimp List Subscribe plugin does cooperate with Analytics 360.
Appreciate your patience, here.
Cheers

In reply to: [Analytics360] [Plugin: Analytics360] Conflict with "Mailchimp Widget"Hey there, Manu!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention (even though I’m waaaaay late to the party). That’s certainly odd behavior, and while the MailChimp Widget plugin is a third-party plugin, I’ll definitely pass this information along to see if there’s anything our developers can update or suggest.
For what it’s worth, the MailChimp List Subscribe plugin (which is officially supported by MailChimp) does seem to cooperate.

In reply to: [Analytics360] [Plugin: Analytics360] Website Not RegisteredHey there, skimdc!
We’ve seen this error before, and generally, the site just needs to be re-registered through this process:

Hey again, recksteve!
If you’re not seeing the fields in your list, you might need to use the “Update List” button from the MailChimp Settings page in WordPress.
As far as getting rid of the “Preferred Format” options, there’s actually two ways to do that, depending on how involved you want to get. Check out this thread for the details:
And there’s no such thing as a “newbie question”. I’m happy to help in any way that I can! 🙂
Cheers
Ah. That sounds like a caching issue of some sorts.
Anyway, with “other field names”, what do you mean, exactly? The plugin should be able to pull in any field that’s in your MailChimp list. You’ll just want to go to “Settings” -> “MailChimp Setup”, and at the bottom of the MailChimp options, you should see a list of checkboxes that correspond to fields in your list.

Check the ones you’d like to include and then click the “Update Subscribe Form Settings” button.
If you’d like to add additional fields, that will need to be done on the MailChimp side of things:
How do I add more fields to my list?: http://eepurl.com/gOHW
After that, you’ll go back to WordPress, and from the “MailChimp Setup” screen, click the “update list” option.

Hey there!
I had a look at the site, but it appears as though all is well! 🙂
Here’s how things rendered for me:

Hey again!
In order to get to your MailChimp plugin, you’ll want to log into your WordPress dashboard and in the left column the “Settings” option should be in the left hand column, towards the bottom. From the “Settings” menu, you should see a “MailChimp Setup” option. Click on that and you should get something that looks like this:

Hey there!
In looking at the site provided, it appears you’ve got 2 different forms on that page: The MailChimp embedded form along with the WordPress plugin.
If you’re wanting to edit the embedded form, your best bet is going to be using our quick CSS reference for the embedded form, from our Knowledge Base!
Embed Code CSS Reference: http://eepurl.com/ylwT
Anything you want to edit specifically, you’ll want to add to your site’s CSS file.
If you’re wanting to edit the plugin, the best thing to do is to use Firebug or Chrome’s built-in Developer Tools to isolate those specific classes or ids and add those to your site’s CSS file. There’s another thread on this board about some general ideas on how to edit the CSS for the plugin, here:
If there’s anything specific that we can assist with, please give us a shout!

Hey there, Jay!
Are there any other plugins that are running on this page? Generally, we see an erorr like this for the embedded form, and not necessarily the plugin. I’d like to see if I can replicate the same behavior on my test setup.
Give me a shout back!
Cheers
