Analytics360 data not loading: Google API Rate Limit Exceeded

Hello,

I’m using your plugin in 40+ of my clients sites. This morning, I started getting emails from al my clients stating that their analytics data is no longer available.

I logged into all sites and the data doesn’t load on the analytics page, I simply get a yellow sign with an exclaimation point in it.

I’ve also got the Google Analytics Dashboard plugin installed, which is throwing this error:
Error gathering analytics data from Google: usageLimitsuserRateLimitExceededUnregUser Rate Limit Exceeded. Please sign uphttps://code.google.com/apis/console

I have created a project for one of the websites with this problem inside the google api console, but there is no place in Analytics360 to put the API Keys.

How should I fix this issue?

Any way you could post a screenshot of what you’re seeing? If there’s some sensitive information in there, you can also email us a screenshot at examples[at]mailchimp.com. Just throw up a post in here after you send it, so I know to be on the lookout.

Whoops… that wasn’t supposed to post just yet.

I’m going to pass that information along to our developers to have a closer look at things. While i can’t provide an ETA, we definitely want to get this straightened out ASAP.

I can get them temporary logins to one of the sites with the problem if needed.

mc_nate,

I found two articles on Google Groups talking about this issue and how to fix it. It has to do with the Analytics API change over from 2.3 to 2.4.

I don’t entirely understand what I need to do to fix this for my current sites having this issue, so if you have instructions after reading these… please let me know!

Hey mc_nate,

I just wanted to let you know that the Developer of Google Analytics Dashboard updated their plugin with a fix for the same issue.

Perhaps your development team can ask him what he did to fix it.

I look forward to getting to use this plugin again on all our client sites.

Hi,
I need your assistance because I get the same issue (User Rate Limit Exceeded). I have the last version of the plugin, 1.3.0 and I’m using wordpress 3.4.2.
Does the last version of the plugin fix the issue for everyone ?
