In reply to: [Archives by WooThemes] styles?Hi Brin,
Thanks for your query. 🙂
This plugin doesn’t come with CSS styles, no. That is left up to the theme. 🙂

In reply to: [Our Team by WooThemes] more hassle than it's worthHi Jim,
I’m sorry to hear the “Our Team” plugin doesn’t meet your needs.
Please note that the intention of the plugin is exactly as you’ve noted- to provide the team listing functionality. The plugin purposefully does not include CSS styling, as this should be left up to the theme.
I feel we’ve communicated the purpose of this plugin effectively. If it doesn’t meet your needs, that doesn’t mean this is a bad plugin. It simply means it doesn’t meet your needs, which is to be expected, if a plugin is coded to meet a specific purpose.
If you feel the coding is poor, please do log issues on our Github repository, here: http://github.com/woothemes/our-team/, and explain where you feel we’ve gone wrong or could improve. We also do encourage pull requests.
While we appreciate your review, we feel your 1 star rating is unjustified, as the plugin simply doesn’t meet your need, while it does do exactly what it says on the box. We’d appreciate an unbiased review of the plugin itself, in it’s context.
Thanks and regards,
Matty.Chief Product Officer at WooThemes

In reply to: [WooSidebars] woosidebars not showing in woocommerce pageHi there,
I’d recommend contacting the theme developer, as they may not be using the WordPress core standards “dynamic_sidebar()” and “is_active_sidebar()” functions, or may be incorrectly modifying the query on the current screen, such that the sidebar isn’t detecting the page as a WooCommerce page.
Thanks and regards,

In reply to: [WooSidebars] Replacing widgets on blog-pageHi DoppyNL,
Thanks for your query. 🙂
Please try setting the condition, under “Template Hierarchy”, as the “Your Latest Posts” screen. That’s the default homepage, which you’ve repurposed to be an internal page.
Please advise if this produces the desired result. 🙂
Thanks and regards,
Matty.

In reply to: [WooSidebars] Categories option not availableHi Trina,
Thanks for your query. 🙂
Do the categories contain posts, perchance? By default, we display only categories which have posts assigned. 🙂
Thanks and regards,

In reply to: [WooSidebars] Compatible with php 5.4?Hi Michelle,
This is the first we’ve heard of this. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Please log an issue over at http://github.com/woothemes/woosidebars/ where we can discuss further, and provide code for you to test with, once we’ve begun addressing the issue.
PHP 5.4 shouldn’t be the issue, as far as I can see. 🙂
Thanks and regards,
Matty.

In reply to: [WooSidebars] woosidebar not work with shadows themeHi asiboy67,
Thanks for your query. 🙂
It looks like your sidebars do not have an “id” parameter. http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/register_sidebar
Please add an “id” parameter to each, using English characters, and advise if this remedies the issue. 🙂
Thanks and regards,
Matty.

In reply to: [WooSidebars] not working with Avada themeHi wjweb,
Thanks for your query. 🙂
To clarify, WooSidebars works with WordPress core’s “dynamic_sidebar()” and “is_active_sidebar()” functions to replace the sidebar.
If the theme doesn’t make use of these core functions (which are also part of the WordPress Code Standards), the plugin will not function correctly.
I’d recommend contacting the theme developer with the above information, requesting that they adopt WordPress Code Standards and make use of WordPress core functions for displaying their sidebars.
Please advise if this produces the desired result. 🙂
Thanks and regards,
