In reply to: [Storefront] Need help with storefront child themeHi Bennn,
These kinds of errors (“unexpected end of file”) occur when the file hasn’t fully uploaded via FTP.
I’d advise re-uploading the “functions.php” file for the child theme and seeing if that resolves the error.

In reply to: [Storefront] Need help with storefront child themeHi Bennn,
Sure thing. 🙂
The WordPress Codex actually has a great tutorial on how to develop a child theme.
I’d recommend giving this a read and letting us know, here, if you have follow-up questions. 🙂

In reply to: [WooSidebars] Compatibility with elegant themesHi there,
Please be sure to start a new thread in future, if you have a query to report. This thread has already been resolved. 🙂
Your theme requires the following in order to use WooSidebars:
– get_header() function being used in the templates (this is a WordPress standard).
– Use of the dynamic_sidebar() and is_active_sidebar() functions.I’d recommend contacting your theme’s developer to ensure they comply with the above two items, which are both WordPress code standards items.

In reply to: Get the taxonomy link. I mean the WHOLE taxonomy, not the termsI don’t believe such a function exists, unfortunately. 🙂

In reply to: Help!!! My Blogs disappeared!Hmmm… it sounds like a database backup from your host may be the best option, then.
You could also increase the number of days before your trash clears.

I’d advise not doing that with your blog posts in future. You could mark posts as drafts instead?

I’d advise contacting WooThemes directly in this regard, where our ninjas can assist.

In reply to: clefHi there,
Clef is a plugin which is most likely pre-installed on your system.
I’d advise contacting your system administrator to disable the plugin.
If you have FTP access, you could rename the clef plugin directory, which would automatically deactivate the plugin.
Clef is a great service though, and keeps your login secure, so I wouldn’t recommend disabling it. 🙂

In reply to: Get the taxonomy link. I mean the WHOLE taxonomy, not the termsHi there,
You could try grabbing the terms for the taxonomy and then looping through those to get the posts.
Posts aren’t tied to a taxonomy, so the data structure doesn’t match what you’re looking to do. 🙂 They way to do this, that I’d advise, is above, or via a custom SQL query, which wouldn’t be the cleanest method.

In reply to: Help!!! My Blogs disappeared!Hi there,
You may want to check the trash to see if the posts are still there? There is a “Trash” link on the “Posts” admin screen next to where it says “Published”, etc.
If they’re not there, I don’t believe you can trace the posts, unfortunately.
You could check with your web host to see if they have a backup of your database?

In reply to: WP editor doesn't workHi there,
This sounds like a Javascript error within either your active theme, or a plugin you’ve got installed.
I’d recommend deactivating all plugins to see if that helps. If it does, activate each plugin one at a time, each time checking to see if the error presents itself.
Once the error presents itself, you’ve found the troublesome plugin. 🙂 From there, I’d advise seeking out an alternative plugin.

In reply to: [WooSidebars] Compatibility with elegant themesHey there. 🙂
This may be due to the custom widget area not correctly having a slug.
Please click “Quick Edit” on the widget area in question and ensure it has a slug and not a digit where the slug should be. 🙂

In reply to: [Our Team by WooThemes] Do-it-yourself pluginJohn,
So your actual complaint seems to be around the single team member views?
Those can be customised in the your theme of choice by creating a “single-team-member.php” file.
As stated above, the plugin is kept simple intentionally, so as not to clutter the WordPress installation, and to keep all the code in the correct location (functionality in the plugin, and styling in the theme of choice).
If you’d prefer not to use our plugin, that’s okay. Our plugin is designed to meet a specific use case. If that’s not your use case (which it seems it isn’t), then that’s okay. Not every plugin will meet every user’s needs, and we realise that.
All of the best with your future endeavours, and thank you for the feedback we were able to read through your comments.
Thanks and regards,

In reply to: [Our Team by WooThemes] Do-it-yourself pluginHi John,
Thanks for your feedback on this.
I’m sorry to hear the plugin doesn’t meet your needs.
Not including CSS is a deliberate choice, as CSS should be handled by the theme of your choosing.
If you are developing websites using WordPress, and would like to get a bit more out of them, I’d advise taking the next step and learning a bit of CSS. It’s beneficial for customising websites, as well as creating your own designs. 🙂
All of the best with your future endeavours.
