Unfortunately we haven’t pinned down the problem yet. Your shortcode looks correct, and the file is not too big. We have tested out the file and the same set up that you have described and it works as it should. It seems that there is some php that is breaking with out displaying any kind of error. We request that you modify the php.ini file to set it to debug mode so that we can see the error messages.
We also can advise to hide the URL on the first link. Currently you can download it with out submitting the form on the page http://rubenvanderlaan.com/downloads/. You can do this by modifying the attributes as follows: [email-download download_id=”8″ contact_form_id=”1734″ attachment=”no” delivered_as=”Inline Link”]
Let us know when the php.ini file has been modified so that we can continue to debug.

Thanks for the interest in our plugin. There are only two links on the URL you have provided. Of those two links, both open in the modal window. When filled, only the second can send an email. After looking at the HTML code, we noticed that only the second link has the required attributes generated by our plugin. That probably means the first form is just a Contact Form and does nothing. Can you double check the short code you are using there?

There is a plugin that works with Contact Form 7 called Contact Form DB that you could probably use to accomplish what you need. Outside of that, there is nothing our plugin can do within that requirement.

Merci pour votre intérêt a nortre plugin.
Both links that you have provided us for testing aren’t working. They produce error 404 message on the page.
As for the multiple items they still work fine locally for us. We even tested the locale, by creating the form in French and didn’t have any issues.
There is one thought though. Sometimes 404 error happen when something is wrong with the Contact Form 7 plugin. Can you check the ids that you use in your test posts?Forum: Plugins

Yes, the download.php is the php script which finally decides what to do: either to provide the download link or to redirect to the page url you provided into the “file” attribute.Forum: Plugins

Please check the name of the installed required plugin. It has to be Download Monitor not Download Manager.

We tested this out with those specifications and we did not encounter any problems. Unfortunately this issue isn’t necessarily about our plugin, so it is hard for us to find the issue. One thing you could double check, is ensuring that the wp-footer() is at the end of the footer.php file of the ACTIVE theme.Forum: Plugins

It seems as though your issue has to do with ajax and CF7. Please insure that CF7 submits without reloading the page,
when it reloads you will see “#wpcf7-f109-p26-o1” at the end of url.Hi ddegeest,
