Hi onei0120
Thanks for the interest in our plugin.
You can try using this shorcode in your post
[email-download file=”http://your_page_url” contact_form_id=”4″ title=”page title”]
Hi,
I need the same thing, using
[email-download file=”http://your_page_url” contact_form_id=”4″ title=”page title”] it generate the Contact Form on the page, but when I click that form submit button it loads forever and doesn’t redirect me to my wanted page.
Do I need to install Download Monitor to have this work because I don’t need that plugin?
Hi Dzung Web,
Thank you for your interest in using our plugin. I would recommend installing Download Monitor even if you aren’t explicitly using it because of the dependencies. Let us know if that works for you.
I have the same problem. Tried using the shortcode above and still does not resolve to the the URL of the page i want to open. The button resolves to “http://mysite/wp-content/plugins/email-before-download/download.php?”, which looks like the default directory for the email before download plugin. I’m sure this is an easy fix.
how do i get this to resolve to the URL in the shortcode above? Everything else works fine.
thanks.

Hi tperri962,
Yes, the download.php is the php script which finally decides what to do: either to provide the download link or to redirect to the page url you provided into the “file” attribute.
HI i am having the same problem. After the form submission it loads for ever and doesn t redirect me.
Do you have an idea to solve this problem?
If not is there a way to set up a fixed url redirection using the download.php file?
How do i give a fixed url to the file attribute ?
Thanks for your answer ! I really need a quick help on this
if anyone can Help.
