I tested this on my site running the most recent versions of WordPress, WooCommerce, and the Storefront theme and it works exactly as it is supposed to.
I suspect that you’re dealing with an issue caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
The best way to determine this is to:
- Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
- Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
- Repeat the action that is causing the problem
If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each one until you find the one causing the conflict. That is an incredibly old version of WooCommerce that was released back in 2017.
I’d recommend taking a full backup of your site and then updating WooCommerce and whatever other plugins you might have that are outdated.

This is probably due to the dimensions of the products being larger than the box sizes you have available.
You need to either create custom packages or enable services that allow you to ship bigger items. If both items can’t fit into one Priority Mail envelope, they’ll need 2 and the shipping cost will double as a result.

Your shipping classes are not affected. All you’re dealing with is shipping zones so you won’t need to change anything as far as shipping classes go.
Regardless, I’d still take a full backup of the site before making any changes. I’d also look into making regular backups. It’s a good habit to get into. Think of it like insurance, you may never need it, but one the one day that you do, you’ll be mighty glad you have it.

I don’t know of any plugins that would achieve this. That is not proof that they don’t exist, just that if they do, I’m not aware of them.
I’d recommend running a search in your favourite search engine to see what comes up. If you don’t find anything and you absolutely must have this functionality, you’ll want to speak to your developer about building it for you.

You can use the same PayPal account with multiple websites. You don’t seed to set up a return URL in your PayPal account as the plugin handles this and will have the response sent to the website that made the call.

I’d recommend that you speak to the developers of your theme as this seems to be an issue that is isolated to that theme.
There are no other reports of this behaviour and I am unable to reproduce this behaviour when testing with other popular themes including the default WordPress themes (Twenty Sixteen, etc.) and Storefront.

You need to enable the PayPal Account Optional feature from within your PayPal account so that your customers do not need to have a PayPal account in order to make payments.
