    Hi @sumukha,

PP Express allows customers to complete their order directly front the product page or from the Cart page without ever getting to the checkout page.

    Here’s a screenshot from a product page – https://cld.wthms.co/06N1mC

If your customers are going all the way to the checkout page, then they don’t need the experience provided by PP Express.

Hi Luminus and thanks for posting.
So to clarify – is there any way with PP Standard to avoid that customers have to enter their info twice similar to Stripe?

    Thanks!

    @sumukha,

I’m not sure what you’re doing that requires customers to enter their information twice.

With PP Standard, you fill out the checkout page on WooCommerce, log into your PayPal account, click the Pay button and you’re sorted.

With Stripe, it’s even more straight forward as customers provide their card information right on the checkout page and complete their order.

If you’re using the Modal Checkout, they have to visit one additional page but they aren’t required to enter information twice.

I’d recommend making sure that you’re running the most recent versions of WordPress, WooCommerce, and whatever other plugins you may be using.

If the issues persist, you might be looking at an issue that’s caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.

The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each one, until you find the one causing the conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

I am just using PP Standard checkout without any modifications.

“With PP Standard, you fill out the checkout page on WooCommerce, log into your PayPal account, click the Pay button and you’re sorted.”

My question is for people who do not have a PayPal account and just want to pay via Credit Card.

    Thanks!

    Hi @sumukha,

You need to enable the PayPal Account Optional feature from within your PayPal account so that your customers do not need to have a PayPal account in order to make payments.

    Luminus,
    I really appreciate your efforts.
Unfortunately, this doesn’t change anything about the double entry of customer data.
I’ll move my sites over to Stripe and keep PP as an option.

    Thanks again for your help!

    Sure.

I’ll go ahead and mark this thread as resolved.
