Long loadingtime?! ahm,
That is just the reason I’m looking for something else.
My old flash gallery took also some loadingtime.
With flash gallery up to 6 seconds, without 1,8 second.And did it help? corse I want to install it too only on my frontpage!

Try atahualpa theme, here you can turn off the menu for your frontpage.can’t help you with your quest, but am interested in your opinion of quickcache in comparance wih W3 Total Cache.

after upgrading there was no way to edit photo´s, here SV v 2.0.4 crashed.
if upgrading in the future means i have to rebuild my 90+ galleries, I hope my now working v 1.5.4 will work in future times
