In reply to: search bots looking for non existing pages blogsWhen I disallow them, they won’t be able to index the existing pages, but the search engines should refresh there database for they have pages and posts in there I removed 2 years ago.
So when I was not clear in my question, how can I prevent search bots from looking for old non existing posts/pages. but stay able to index my site?Yes I did select the option to Remove all Table data, but Wordfence stayed active in cache so it seems.
After remove active cache program and reinstall it (super cache) I was able to completely disable wordfence.thanks
edit I am using social proxy by mailchimp for sharing post and pages to my site.
Did uninstall wordfence and reinstalled it, but no change.
Also deleted al blocked ip adresses, no change..Forum: Plugins

hope you get the new release out this week, for the speed even more poor than beforethanks, am looking forward
when disabling live traffic as I did at your suggestion, that part of the security and functionallity of wordfence is not at work, and I can not see possible attacks on my site. Only thing I did is speeding up loading time

But when deactivated live traffic, part of the security and functionallity of wordfence is down. 🙁
