In reply to: Names not appearing as hyperlinks in forum?As I said in my earlier post, the link is in my profile! Just a bit confused as I’ve seen quite a few that don’t link even though the url is in their profile…

Have you tried using another theme, just to see if that makes a difference?

In reply to: Spam? Read this.It would be really helpful if the “mark selected comments as spam” in the mass edit bit was available for wordpress.org blogs as well as those on wordpress.com – earlier this morning, 20 spam trackbacks slipped through the system and I had to mark them as spam by editing each comment one by one.

In reply to: Show draft posts in dashboardI’ve started playing around with index.php in wp-admin (don’t worry, I made a back-up copy first!) and put together this code, based on the draft post bits in edit.php and the bit for scheduled entries in index.php
<?php if ($drafts) { ?>
<div>
<h3><?php _e('Drafts:') ?></h3>
<ul>
<?php
$i = 0;
foreach ($other_drafts as $draft) {
if (0 != $i)
echo ', ';
$draft->post_title = stripslashes($draft->post_title);
if ($draft->post_title == '')
$draft->post_title = sprintf(__('Post #%s'), $draft->ID);
echo "<a href='post.php?action=edit&post=$draft->ID' title='" . __('Edit this draft') . "'>$draft->post_title</a>";
++$i;
}
?>
</ul>
</div>
<?php endif; ?>Of course, that hasn’t worked and brings up this error when I try to load the dashboard:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_ENDIF in /home/josalm/public_html/wp-admin/index.php on line 99
line 99 refers to
<?php endif; ?>but when I delete that, I get this error message:Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/josalm/public_html/wp-admin/index.php on line 192
line 192 is an extra line right at the very bottom of index.php – if I delete that line then it says line 191 instead.
Has anyone got any better suggestions?
Cheers, Jo

In reply to: Stylesheet selector in functions.phpI’ve been looking for ways to do this too. I’ve got a few photos that I’d like to make into headers and then I want different link colours etc depending on the photo but I don’t want to create different themes to change via a theme switcher as then any changes you make to one sidebar have to be made to them all….
I’d love it if there was a way for users to pick the stylesheet.

Location: http://www.josalmon.co.uk/feed/
Line Number 1, Column 2: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>But when I deactivate it, the feed works fine.
