That sounds like that at some point your URL must have gotten claimed already. Based on the Google documentation: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/176793?hl=en there are 4 ways to do so: https://d.pr/i/Gh2B02
If it was claimed using an HTML file, then the file should be residing in your website’s root folder.
Other than that I would check every tag manager and google analytics account you have access to.

Neat! I’ve downloaded 1.30, connected the Google account, and updated it back to 1.40 and things are working smoothly again. 🙂

I ran some tests on your site, however, I couldn’t reproduce this error of the site (checkout) being extremely slow to load.
The checkout is not exactly clean, which can be a bit slow, however, the test I did, all the information loaded quickly, and the PayPal option was enabled.
That said, are you still facing this issue? And how did you perform the test to find out how fast/slow your checkout is taking to load?

It is not very clear how this issue occurred. After you performed the update, did any option for menu duplication appear?

Could you confirm which Payment Gateway you are using? Just to set the right expectations, if you are using a 3rd-party plugin for Payment Gateway, you will have to contact their support directly.
