Seems like you may have a WordPress firewall or a server firewall which may block the request, i’d suggest you to check and make sure they don’t block.

As long we don’t know what’s behind that error afraid we can’t really help, can you maybe try check also browser error console when try when error gets thrown from that url with error?

Sorry for the inconvenience, based on what you provided via email, your issue seems to be related with your website server where you try to restore the website.
As mentioned on email, you need to check your server error logs and see what’s recorded in there when that issue happens, you may also want to contact your hosting company.

I’ve just tested WebDav remote storage and seems it works as expected here, can you maybe check if you may have some firewall which may block the connection?
