Just a reference if you don’t want to login to each WP site.
You can just take the init.php from the latest IWP client plugin and then upload it to each wp-content/plugins/iwp-client/init.php through cpanel or FTP.

We wrote multi-call concept from the scratch to help backup get better. But it is having bugs which is related to host environments again. So we are doing our best to make the tool better.

Its a self hosted product and hence it requires cron job for automated process. We got your support tickets and would be replying them ASAP.

The issue has been fixed an update has been released thanks to Chris for being responsive 🙂
I am David founder at InfiniteWP. That is definitely not true. We have been good friends with iThemes founder Cory and BetterWP founder Chris both are great people.
The security issue came in with the Integration between InfiniteWP and BetterWP and they are getting fixed as we speak and we will be releasing an update in the next few days.
InfiniteWP as such is secure and powers around 200,000 sites and being downloaded 400,000 times. We take security seriously.

If you update your BetterWP plugin it may not bring updates for themes, plugins etc if you had the setting to hide the updates on BetterWP. If you have change the WP-admin path in BetterWP plugin it may also not work and you have to goto “Advanced” and select siteURL to connect in InfiniteWP
We would recommend not to update if your are an InfiniteWP user till the next release.

In reply to: [InfiniteWP Client] Phishing alertAs esmi pointed out if your site is fully compromised the virus will recreate itself on different folders. So kindly do a full clean and let us know.
The code in the repository is definitely virus free. We do our side of investigation and WordPress.org also constantly scan all popular plugins for virus / malicious activity.
Let me know if you have any doubt.
