In reply to: [MaxGalleria] Thumbnails not all squareokay, glad you found it. I wonder why enlarging some of my images fixed it, as I don’t have that plug in.
But I’m glad you got it sorted. Lovely paintings, BTW.

In reply to: [MaxGalleria] Thumbnails not all squareWhen I had this issue, I found that enlarging the images that were screwing up my nice neat layout in the gallery, fixed it. But I wasn’t able to remember how I did it. So I copied (sorry about this) your six large images and created a gallery on a site that I am working on. And they look fine. So I’m wondering if you have some settings that you have put in to do with size that is causing this? You can take a look at http://germarscom.ipower.com/artexperience/test/. You will see that it looks fine. Let me know and I can help you compare settings?

In reply to: [MaxGalleria] Thumbnails not all squareHi MT
I discovered that you have to have all of your images at a maximum size. So if any of the images aren’t large enough (either in height or width) it elongates them this way. What I did was go back to the few images that weren’t sizing correctly and save them for the gallery at a larger size. That seemed to fix the issue. Let me know if you need me to explain better than this.

In reply to: [MaxGalleria] Thumbnails not all squareHi Alan,
Yes I did. I think I’ve discovered that if you have them under a certain size, they change to the whole image for some reason and if it is not square, it places it in the space in the shape it really is.
I replaced some of the problem images with larger versions and that seemed to fix them.
Thanks for your reply though.
it says that plugin hasn’t been updated for two years, is it still okay Raam? (I’m talking about the WP Mail Log that is mentioned in the link you supplied). Thanks.
I’m having the same issue. It used to work, but has stopped just recently. I thought it may be something to do with making it a personalized message, but I’ve changed it back to the standard message and that hasn’t helped. I’ve also deactivated plugins that people had mentioned and that hasn’t fixed it either.
Has there been a fix for this? I deactivated Google Analytics and that didn’t help me.

In reply to: [MaxGalleria] lightbox not workingHi Alan,
Thank you for that. I appreciate your help. Perhaps for future updates (or if you can change the message) it would be good to have this change somewhere in the message or a link on your site. The mention of the lightbox just confused me. (maybe only me)
thanks again, I will certainly close this thread and give a good rating!

In reply to: [MaxGalleria] lightbox not workingHi Alan,
Thanks for your reply. The MaxGalleria message that is included at the top of WP when you update says this:Attention: Maxgalleria 3.1 now uses Magnific Popup for lightboxes. Please check you galleries after upgrading. The Image Carousel Add-on requires updating to use with this new version.
Perhaps that message needs to be clearer, with a link to instructions on where this is included, or what changes need to be made to our settings. I haven’t been able to see where this is in your plugin, so assumed it was an external plugin that I needed to use (and there happens to be one very similar). I used to use Responsive Lightbox which is an external plugin.
Can you direct me to where in your plugin the options are to include this? I’ve deactivated, but my galleries still don’t have any advance to next image options. I’m not using image carousel on this site.
Thank you!
the site is at http://kawarthapottersguild.com/cathy-allen/
I had NextGen Gallery Optimizer on this site and deactivating it, solved my problem. Thanks
I’m having the exact same issue. I’d love to find out what the change is, as I have a lot of other sites that will be affected.
It seems to work okay if the version of NextGen is 2.0.66.27 with WordOress 3.9.2, but if the site is updated to WP 4.0, that’s when the vertical issue appears.
My site is at http://valpigott.com/paintings/Thank you
this doesn’t look resolved, did anyone find out how to fix it?

In reply to: [CampTix Event Ticketing] Where are the "tickets"Hi John, I had to give up on this plugin as I didn’t get any response. I ended up using another program altogether. If you want to contact me via germars.com, I can share what I ended up using. I posted a minute ago, but it didn’t take so this is a shorter message.
I figured, but it was a good idea for Mike to mention it so you guys know too! (in case you didn’t) I got it in gmail and hotmail.
Thanks!
