    Hello @lanter56,

Thanks for reaching out, and sorry for the trouble.

The issue with no data on the dashboard is often due to a conflict with other plugins. Please try deactivating all plugins except WP SlimStat, clear your cache, and check again. Caching plugins especially can cause this issue.

The installation error likely relates to file permissions on your server. If possible, connect via FTP, remove the plugin, and check that folder permissions are set to 755 and file permissions to 644. Then, try reinstalling the plugin.

Let us know how it goes!

    Best regards,
    Mehmet

    Hi @anonymouscompany,

    Thanks again for the information.

Some in-app browsers (like Facebook’s) may block JavaScript, affecting tracking.

Please go to Statistics > Settings > General and enable “Bypass Ad Blockers”.

Also, if possible, open your Facebook ad link from the Facebook app and check if the visit is recorded.

Also, check if your hosting uses server-level or object caching (like Redis/Memcached), as this may delay updates.

Please also ensure you’re using the latest version of WP Statistics.

To help us investigate further, please send us your Site Health Info:
Go to Tools > Site Health > Info tab, then click Copy site info to clipboard and paste it in your reply.

We’ll do our best to assist you.

    Best regards,
    Mehmet

    Hi @gerardolatino73,
    Thank you for reaching out.

Could you please let us know which version of WP Statistics you are currently using?

Also, it would be helpful if you could open the browser’s Inspect Console (right-click anywhere on the page > Inspect > Console tab) and share any error messages you see there.

Additionally, please send us your Site Health Info so we can better understand your environment.
You can find it by going to:
Tools > Site Health > Info tab, then click “Copy site info to clipboard” and paste it here.

We appreciate your help in improving the plugin and look forward to your reply.
    Best regards,
    Mehmet

    Hi @anonymouscompany,

    Thanks for your detailed explanation.

I ran a test on my side using the Facebook app and its in-app browser to visit a live website.
From what I observed, the visits were correctly tracked without any issues.

To verify traffic from Facebook, you can go to Statistics > Visitor Insights and check the Referrer column.
If users are coming from Facebook, it should appear there as the traffic source.

Also, please check the following setting:

    • Navigate to Statistics > Settings > Filtering and Exceptions
    • Make sure no specific IP addresses are being blocked, as that might affect tracking.
    • In Statistics > Settings > Location Detection Method,
set the method to Cloudflare IP Geolocation, especially since your site is using Cloudflare.

It doesn’t appear to be a plugin conflict, but to be thorough:
Try temporarily disabling all other plugins except WP Statistics and see if the issue persists.
This can help determine if something else is interfering.

Let me know what you find—happy to continue investigating with you.

    Best regards,

    Mehmet

    Hi @michae2l,

    Thank you for contacting us.

From what you described, it sounds like something is preventing the tracking script from loading correctly — often, caching plugins can interfere with it.

To troubleshoot, we recommend temporarily disabling all plugins, especially FlyingPress. If your site is live, you can enable a maintenance mode plugin to safely take it offline while testing.

After that, try visiting the site from different devices and see if WP Statistics starts recording visits again.

If it turns out FlyingPress is the cause, please exclude this file from its cache settings:
    /wp-content/plugins/wp-statistics/assets/js/tracker.js

Let us know how it goes — we’re happy to help however we can.

    Thanks,
    Mehmet

    Thank you for your message.

We’re glad to hear that you’ve identified the plugins causing the conflict.
We appreciate you sharing the warning message with us.

    Regarding the warning you mentioned:

    Type: Deprecated
Message: Return type of Twig\Node\Node::getIterator() should either be compatible with IteratorAggregate::getIterator(): Traversable, or the #[\ReturnTypeWillChange] attribute should be used…

This is a non-critical warning and does not affect the functionality of the WP Statistics plugin.
That said, we will certainly review it and address it in future updates.

I’ll go ahead and mark this ticket as resolved for now.
But of course, feel free to reach out to us anytime if you have more questions or need further assistance.

    Best regards,
    Mehmet

    Dear Cyril,

Regarding the caching issue with WP Super Cache, unfortunately, I was not able to find a specific solution to exclude the tracker.js file.

It might be best to contact WP Super Cache support directly for detailed assistance on this matter.
    Here is their support page:
    https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wp-super-cache/

It seems that the tracker.js file is being blocked, possibly by a security plugin or firewall on your site.

To resolve this issue, please check any security or firewall plugins you have installed and whitelist the tracker.js file or the URL path /wp-json/wp-statistics/v2/hit.

    Best regards,
    Mehmet

    Dear @cdserveopro,

Please navigate to Statistics > Settings > General in your WordPress dashboard.
Then, disable the Bypass Ad Blockers option.
After that, clear your site cache and browser cache.

This should help resolve the issue.

I’ll look forward for your response.

    Best regards,
    Mehmet

    Hello @cdserveopro,

    Thank you for contacting us.

We noticed that your website is currently using the WP Super Cache plugin.

This plugin may be interfering with the proper functioning of the tracker.js script used by WP Statistics.

To troubleshoot this, please try the following steps:

    • Temporarily deactivate the WP Super Cache plugin.
    • Perform a hard refresh of the page and check if the visits are being tracked correctly.

If this resolves the issue, we recommend excluding the tracker.js file from being cached by WP Super Cache.

Also, could you please let us know which version of WP Statistics you are currently using?

    Looking forward to your update.

    Best regards,
    Mehmet

I’m following up to see if everything is working as expected on your end.

If you still notice any irregularities, it might be helpful to check the log file and share any relevant error messages with us.

Also, if the tracker/debugger is now functioning correctly, we would appreciate it if you could send us a screenshot.

Thank you very much for your continued cooperation — we truly appreciate it.

    Hi @programmin,

First of all, I sincerely apologize for the delay in getting back to you.

Regarding the blank response from the /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=wp_statistics_schema_migration_process request — this is expected behavior. The AJAX call does not return any visible output, so seeing a blank page is normal and not a sign of an error.

That said, I will forward this issue to our development team for further investigation. I will keep you updated on the outcome as soon as I have more information.

To help us better understand the situation, could you please send us your Site Health Info?
This will allow us to review your server environment and resource availability such as memory and other server limits.

    Additionally, please go to:
    Statistics > Optimization > Overview & Info

Then let us know the number of rows for the following tables:

    • statistics_visitor_relationships
    • statistics_visitor

We’d like to get a rough idea of the data volume in those tables.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation and patience.

    Best regards,
    Mehmet
