@rahimvaziri Can you elaborate on this part of the process?

the first customer comes but doesn’t pay the order

I’m struggling to understand how that works. What payment gateway are you using on the site? What steps are taken by the customer to place an order without paying for it?

@jgatewood I’d recommend trying to disable all plugins on the site, and then try to activate the plugin once again, under that setup.

It would help to have a copy of the errors you are seeing. Can you paste the exact messages into this thread?

It’s important to know that in order to complete the conflict test in full, I’d suggest following the instructions above.

Only removing plugins “that wasn’t necessary” will not be a full test.

I’m sharing again the instructions below, just in case:

Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront. Then, disable all plugins on the site except for WooCommerce, and test for the issue.

If the issue is gone, you’ll then have to re-enable features one by one, while testing for the issue; until you find out which one is causing this behavior.

We recommend that these steps are taken on a staging site, which is a clone of your live site that you can modify without risking making any permanent damage to your live site. You can create it using a plugin like WP-Staging: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/

If this doesn’t help, I’m not sure what else could’ve caused that text to be inserted there. I’ll leave this thread open for now in case anyone else from the community has ideas about what could have happened.

@smvmedia it is not a static page so it cannot be edited from the WordPress dashboard.

Did you try the conflict test as outlined above?

@dzire2dzine Thank you! Your settings do seem correct. I’d recommend the suggestion from Senff above, to update that string of text using a plugin like Loco Translate.

If you are worried about adding too many plugins to your store, you can install that plugin, make the change, and then remove the plugin from your site entirely. The change will already be saved and wont’ be removed once you delete the plugin from your store.

@pujsek It sounds like you are looking for a code snippet that would enable you to disable cart functionality from a few specific products on your store.

An option that comes to mind, that doesn’t involve code, would be to set these products to Out of Stock, that way they can’t be purchased. You’ll just have to make sure that out of stock items aren’t configured to be hidden from the store catalog.

Alternatively, you could use a plugin like Catalog Visibility Options to remove eCommerce functionality from specific products on the store.

@dzire2dzine Can you share a screenshot of your settings at WooCommerce > Settings > Tax > Tax options.

Make sure to show us all the options that appear on the screen. If they can’t fit on a single screenshot, you can share multiple.

You can use a service like https://snipboard.io/ to take and upload a screenshot. Once you upload it there, please copy the image’s URL and paste it on your next reply.

@ganymede2 Can you elaborate on what do you mean by switching “between PayPal and local pickup”? Is “PayPal” the name of a shipping method? If so, what shipping method is that, is it a flat rate?

Sharing a screenshot of your website where we can see this in action would also be helpful.

@smvmedia If you edit the sidebar widget section, what do you see there? Under Appearance > Customize > Widgets. Could there be content added there?

If there isn’t, you might try checking for conflicts next.

@aksingh1 Looking at the documentation for the ShipStation plugin , this seems to be expected.

However, according to the screenshot there, a private system note is what seems to be added, so that wouldn’t be sent over to the customer. Are you sure an email is being generated by these notes? Could you share with us a screenshot of those emails?

@lmpjake I’m not aware of a plugin that would work exactly the way you described. However, I’m thinking you could use a plugin like Smart Coupons to set up a similar workaround.

With that plugin you can sell store credit. So, for example, if your lessons cost $10.00 each, you could set up a store credit product that costs $100.00 and is worth for 10 lessons.

The customer can then use that store credit to “buy” the lessons on your store.

I realize it’s not exactly the same thing, but thought I would drop that option here in case it could work for you.

@pipoulito I tested this on a site of my own but a user with the role of Shop manager does have access to the Reports section.

Perhaps there’s a plugin creating a conflict that causes this?

To verify if this is the case, you’ll want to temporarily switch your theme to Storefront. Then, disable all plugins on the site except for WooCommerce, and test for the issue.

If the issue is gone, you’ll then have to re-enable features one by one, while testing for the issue; until you find out which one is causing this behavior.

@smvmedia When clicking to open that second page, I can see the text that is shown above the rest of your page. On the sidebar, I also noticed that there’s a “Recent comments” section that displays similar “spam” text.

I’m wondering if spam comments may have been posted that contain code that is causing this conflict / disturbance on your theme layout.

I’d recommend starting by reviewing comments posted on your site (you can do this by clicking on Comments in the sidebar of the wp-admin dashboard), and removing any that look fishy.

Finally, for a long-term solution against spam, I’d recommend getting a plugin like Jetpack, which integrates a feature called “Akismet” that blocks spam.

@ilvcomposites I tested this on an iPad but I was unable to reproduce. I was able to correctly select a variation an add it to my cart:

Are there any other steps needed to reproduce the issue?

Having said that, if the issue only happens on products imported via a third-party plugin, then yes, I’d recommend looking at that plugin as the source of this issue.

I can confirm it’s offered as a yearly subscription.

Hopefully it helps! Please feel free to open a new thread if you come across any other questions.
