Understood – this is likely the cause of the issue. Can you remove one of the plugin installations? Maybe deactivate it in Woocommerce?
Having two instances of the Chat plugin installed on a single page will cause both to fail, so removing one of them should solve your issue.
Do let us know if you have any further issues.

Hi @cutemunkey,
You seem to have 3 instances of the Chat plugin installed on your page, which is causing them all to fail.
Did you try and deploy the plugin via a different plugin as well (eg. WooCommerce)? Did you try and add (copy/paste) the code directly to your site?
If you’re able to remove the extraneous instances of the plugin that are installed on your site, it should be able to load and work correctly.
Let us know how you get on,

In reply to: [Facebook Chat Plugin - Live Chat Plugin for WordPress] Customer Chat pluginCan I ask you to go through the setup process one more time, and see if the settings stick this time?
Also, the Chat plugin settings can also be controlled via the Page settings section (on Facebook), so it’s possible it might have been over-ridden from there at some point.
Let us know how you get on.

In reply to: [Meta pixel for WordPress] An error of type E_PARSE was caused in line 16What is your PHP version? We could reproduce it with PHP 5.6.40.
Can you enable logging and send us some logs with the error? It will be easier for us to identify and fix the problem. Thank you.

Hi @fyoong90,
You seem to have the plugin code installed twice for some reason. Did you install the WordPress plugin into your WordPress integration, or did you directly add the code? (or both?)

Hi @bredchic,
Thanks for sharing the link to your site. I’ve taken a look at the site and I can’t see the Chat plugin code installed anywhere. Can I ask you to go through the setup process again?
Thanks,

Hi @jojoyl,
The issue is that you are using an “incognito” window in Chrome. This is a way to browse the web without persisting login sessions, so it is not possible to log into services such as Facebook this way.
You can use a regular Chrome window (not incognito mode) to log in, or enable Guest mode in the plugin’s set up process, if you’d like to allow users to use the plugin while logged out.
Hope this clarifies things,

Hi @eubo,
It’s now possible to specify the size of the bottom margin of the Chat plugin from within the setup flow 🙂

Hi @fyoong90,
Thanks for confirming. Can I ask you to uninstall and re-install the plugin? It seems like your site has gone through a bunch of changes since the original install, so it might be worth running through the whole procedure again.
Let us know how you get on.
Thanks,

Dropped in on your site today, and I can see you’ve got it working now 🙂

Hi @fyoong90,
Can I confirm that you set the Chat plugin up by adding the WordPress plugin to your WP instance? I’m looking at the code, and it appears there are two div elements with the “fb-customerchat” class, but both are empty. This is very unusual, so I’m curious as to how you went about setting it up.
Thanks,
