Hi @zsola345,
There is an issue currently affecting all Facebook Social Plugins, which is working to be fixed ASAP: https://developers.facebook.com/status/issues/492652922187445/
The Chat plugin will return again as soon as the fix has been made on our servers, and no action is required on your part.
Apologies for the inconvenience,

Hi @zsola345,
We have a new update in the works, and on the way very soon – however, the current version is definitely compatible with WordPress 5.7.1! If you’re having any issues, please feel free to post a support ticket so we can help out.
Thanks,

Hi @solv,
I’ve had a look at the source markup, and it looks like the plugin code does not appear on those pages. May I ask how you installed the Chat plugin? Did you add the Official Facebook Chat plugin for WordPress to the plugins section of your WordPress installation?
Thanks,

In reply to: [Facebook Chat Plugin - Live Chat Plugin for WordPress] Guests’ conversationsHi @arnaudv33,
That’s correct. As detailed in the documentation (https://developers.facebook.com/docs/messenger-platform/discovery/facebook-chat-plugin/#guest_mode):
โGuest chatsโ will end when the user decides to end the chat from the More menu, or 24 hours from the start of the conversation, whichever comes first.
Guest users can log in, in order to continue the conversation indefinitely.
Hope this clarifies!

Hi @solv,
I’ve had a look at the pages you’ve linked to, and the Chat plugin is loading fine for me on all those pages. If you have any examples of pages where it’s not loading, feel free to let us know.

Hi @karlosbcn,
You can disable and/or remove the plugin via your admin dashboard’s Plugins section.
If you’ve added the Chat plugin code separately to the plugin, either by adding the code to your site’s files directly, or via another third-party plugin, you will need to disable or remove it from there as well.
Hope this helps!

Hi @gugan7,
Thanks for the screenshot. Would you be able to provide a link to your site where the plugin is installed, and also your Facebook username so we can investigate what’s going on here?
Thanks,

In reply to: [Facebook Chat Plugin - Live Chat Plugin for WordPress] Facebook Chat ErrorHi @aihn,
Sorry to hear you’re encountering this issue. This might be specific to your Facebook account. Can you confirm whether you’re logged in to Facebook on the same browser you’re using to set up the Chat plugin?
Thanks,

Hi @karollis3,
I’ve taken a look at the code on your website. Did you install the Chat plugin using the WordPress plugin? The code looks a bit different to how the WordPress plugin would install it…
Thanks,

Hi @leondrs,
The administrator of the Facebook Page which the Chat plugin is connected to can change/disable this in the Page’s settings: Settings -> Messaging -> Show a greeting
Hope this helps!
