I don’t think this is specifically related to WPThree. Instead, the problem is that the campaigns donations table is missing. Normally, this should be created when the plugin is activated.
If you’re still having this problem, try deactivating and then reactivating Charitable. Before doing that, go to Charitable > Settings > Advanced and make sure that the Force Delete option is <b>not</b> enabled. You might also want to create a database backup just in case there are any problems.
If the problem persists after doing that, please get in touch via https://www.wpcharitable.com/support/ and we’ll follow up through email.

EricHi Pieter,
For changing the default text used in the plugin, I recommend the Loco Translate plugin. It’s a translation plugin, but one of the benefits is that you can change the default text used in plugins like Charitable into text you’d prefer. To change the text, install and activate the plugin, then go to create a translation for Charitable. You will need to choose your language from the dropdown list, and then you can search for the text you want to change.
Easy, and no code to be edited 🙂

Hi Prashant,
Multilingual campaigns with Polylang is a bit tricky at the moment. Charitable is fully translatable, so you can use it as part of a multilingual site. However, one thing that does not work currently is to have a single campaign that exists in in multiple languages with the stats shared between the campaigns. For example, if you have a campaign in both French and English, Charitable would essentially treat these as two separate campaigns. So if the French campaign has raised $300 and the English campaign has raised $400, they will show $300 and $400 respectively — not $700.
One thing that other users have done is to use a WordPress multisite instance and set up each language as its own site on the network. That doesn’t overcome the issue above, but it does make a clearer distinction between the two language versions.
Another thing you could try is the Weglot. It works in a different way to Polylang and does automatic machine translations (which you can tweak if there are problems), but I think it should work correctly with Charitable.
Cheers,
EricI have been in touch with you about this over email, but just following up here too. One thing to make sure of is that the translation files need to be named charitable-es_ES.mo/charitable-es_ES.po and charitable-ambassadors-es_ES.mo/charitable-ambassadors-es_ES.po respectively. es_ES.po/es_ES.mo on its own won’t work.

EricHi @hugo_mv,
Could you send me a message via https://www.wpcharitable.com/support/? I’d like to ask you a question about the Spanish translation.
Cheers,
EricHi Alix,
That description is added using a template in Charitable itself. If you want to customize it, here’s what you can do:
1. Create a new file in your child theme (read this if you’re not using the child theme yet) at
reach-child-theme/charitable/campaign/description.php.
2. Into this file, copy and paste the contents of the following file in the Charitable plugin:charitable/templates/campaign/description.php
3. Make the customizations you want in the new version in your child theme!Cheers,
EricIt looks like the issue is that the Charitable database tables have not been created. Are you using Charitable on a multi-site installation?
Cheers,
EricWhich template files are you trying to override, and where have you saved them?
Adding a file upload field to the donation form is not something that can be easily achieved. If you require that feature, I would recommend hiring a developer who can help you integrate that.
With the donation form, logged out users should be able to make a donation; that is by design. They will need to make sure they have filled out any required fields, but as long as they do that their donation should proceed.
Cheers,
EricAre all the donations from different donors with different email addresses? Donations from the same email address are grouped together as a single donor, even if the name used is different.
Also note that any donations that are Pending will not be included in the Total Donors tally.

EricHi SooBahkDo,
The first thing I would try is to go to Settings > Permalinks and click on the Save Settings button (no need to change any settings).
If that doesn’t work, would you mind posting your link here or getting in touch via https://www.wpcharitable.com/support/?
Cheers,
EricAh, so you’re using Reach?
If so, this template should work for you: https://gist.github.com/ericnicolaas/dd373a615d2a4c29642460fd4181bf6b
Hi Jinesh,
How do you want to change the permalink? What is it currently and what do you want to change it to?
Cheers,
EricI just loaded the general donation form and it’s not pre-populating the email address field at all. It might be that your browser is pre-filling the fields based on your previous form submissions.
Cheers,
EricBummer you weren’t able to use Charitable in this case. If you ever give it another try and have the same issue, feel free to get in touch with us via our support page: https://www.wpcharitable.com/support/
