I translated Charitable Development (.pot downloaded from translate.wordpress.org) to Spanish; as well as Ambassador.

The “es_ES.mo” file is already inside “charitable-ambassadors/languages” folder, and my wp-config file also contains the WPLANG definition (to “es_ES”). It seems that those are the required conditions, but Ambassadors keeps showing the English language instead of the Spanish one.

Similarly, the “es_ES.mo” file is inside “charitable/i18n/languages” folder; without success.

I do not know what could be wrong… Any enlightened help will be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

  • I have been in touch with you about this over email, but just following up here too. One thing to make sure of is that the translation files need to be named charitable-es_ES.mo/charitable-es_ES.po and charitable-ambassadors-es_ES.mo/charitable-ambassadors-es_ES.po respectively. es_ES.po/es_ES.mo on its own won’t work.

    Cheers,
    Eric

Wow! I thought that solution for a second (but ignored that whisper). Thanks Eric; now it works like a charm.
