Hi @beitsiach, if it’s now working fine for you, then it sounds that we’re all set, and you can remove the pictures.
I would have expected to be sent to a page acknowledging subscription, stating that an email was sent, – not to the WordPress.com account. Perhaps with a link to the Manage subscribed sites screen.
Thanks a lot for this suggestion! We have relayed it to our product team, if you’re interested, you can follow the request progress in this GitHub issue.

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Caching turns off after refreshing WP Super Cache pageHi @gabemartin, sorry to hear you’ve ran into some issue. If you still need help, could you please start your own thread, as per the Forum Welcome?

Hi @patdundee, if you removed Jetpack through the webserver and the captcha is still there, it means that the captcha is coming from somewhere else.
Could you test by disabling other plugins through the webserver? You don’t have to remove them completely, and can disable them by renaming the plugin file (for example:
jetpack-tempinstead ofjetpack)If you still need help, could you please post your site URL here so that we can have a look? If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via contact form. If you choose to reach out directly, please include a link to this thread.
I see that this is a duplicate request, and we answered it at https://wordpress.org/support/topic/page-view-stats-stopped-counting/
I’m setting this one as resolved.
Hi @danscrazycatlady, may I know where you’re accessing the list of WordPress sites? Is it from WordPress.com?
On WordPress.com, the sidebar will display all the sites connected to Jetpack, so if the site is disconnected, it will be removed from the list.
The Jetpack connection allowed you to manage the site from WordPress.com, but all the content was still hosted at the hosting provider, so they are the ones to ask for backups of the site.
If the web host no longer has a copy of the content, you can try to salvage content that may have been archived on the Wayback Machine, https://web.archive.org/web/20230101000000*/http://www.goodlife.sixoaks.co.uk/
To prevent this situation in the future, you might want to consider having a site backup system such that even if you change host or something goes awry on the site, you’d still have copies of your site to restore to. There are plugins to help with that, such as Jetpack VaultPress Backup.
Chrome Lighthouse is a tool for site audit performance, it may be used by some plugins installed on the site.
We’re not able to see which plugin is causing the issue, but looking at the ones installed, here are some to double-check:
- Code Snippets and Header Footer Code Manager, for custom code
- Site Kit by Google, Speed Optimizer, WP Rocket, check any options related to site optimization, performance audit.
That said, our team is also looking into exclude traffic from Chrome Lighthouse, but this is still in discussion.

Hi @kathyeng07, thanks for the URL, I indeed see the spikes as well.
Can you recall making any changes to the site over the past few weeks that could have impacted it? Anything scheduled around Thursdays such as scheduled posts, email campaigns, or social media activity?
I’m also checking with the team on this. Thanks.

In reply to: [Jetpack Social] Facebook Sharing not WorkingHi @bluemoth, could you try removing Jetpack from the Facebook settings at https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=business_tools, and then reconnect Jetpack Social to it?
If the problem persists, please check if there are any security plugins activated that might be blocking requests from Jetpack. Also try contacting your hosting provider and ask them to check the security logs to see if they might be blocking or throttling access.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Unable To Set Up JetpackHi @lljb3, the site URL should be detected properly for new sites.
In the case of bovember.com, it appears the site was already registered with a different site URL, but then got updated to a new site URL, when that happened, you should have gotten a notice to update the site URL, if you’re not opting to update it, then we’d have to manually change it.
how to create a list of sites for the Blogroll widget, my brief experiments suggest it will only link to the blog at its top level, and not articles
Hi @dfl1955, the way you’re doing it sounds correct, and the Blogroll block will effectively only display top level info of the blogs.
Here’s more info on using the Blogroll block: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/blogroll-block/If you want to show articles from recommended blogs, then you might be best served with the RSS block which is a default in the WordPress editor. You’d need to add one RSS block for each blog. Can you try and see if it’s closer to what you’re looking for?

In reply to: [Jetpack Boost - Website Speed, Performance and Critical CSS] problema pluginHi @hellsbrigade, thanks for the update.
I no longer see Boost on the site, if you’d like to give it another try, could you help us gather more info about the issue by checking for the JavaScript errors (see guide)?

In reply to: [Jetpack Boost - Website Speed, Performance and Critical CSS] problema pluginHI @hellsbrigade, sorry to hear you had trouble the plugin blocking Elementor when editing pages; and thanks for the screenshot!
I tried to reproduce the issue on my test site with Boost, Elementor, and the OceanWP theme installed, but the problem didn’t appear.
This leads me to suspect that you encountered a plugin and/or theme conflict. To troubleshoot that, try temporarily deactivating all your plugins and check if the problem is resolved that way. If it works, then reactivate each plugin one-by-one to find out which one is causing problems.
To avoid an interruption on the live site, you can troubleshoot by using the plugin Health Check, here’s a guide at https://wordpress.com/support/plugins/solve-problems-with-plugins/#health-check-amp-troubleshooting-plugin
