    Having same issue. Wordfence has gone from our dashboard. When I try to reinstall, it’s saying folder already exists. Very worrying.

    The only way I could reinstall was to delete the folder in my sites file manager and then install again. Now got to go through and check everything is working as it should. It looks like there was an update 24 hours ago, but I had no notification.

    Hello, just an update to this. Got it to work however it seems flawed. I only got it to work by having one of the videos in the video category I made as a video post type but the other had to be an standard post type = this needs to be fixed as I want to make sure all videos posted as news are under the same category – or it makes things look inconsistent in terms of the way posts look when reading latest news.

    Hi there this is how I do it. (please note url is just an example and not actual url I am using, but everything else is how I do it on my site using the Buttons shortcode:

    [wc_button type="success" url="http://www.yourlinkhere.com" title="Visit Site" target="_blank" position="float"]Your site/link name here[/wc_button]

    Using target=”_blank” will make sure the button link opens in a new tab.

    YES! Just wanted to say the latest update 4.3.2 has resolved all my issues.

    Thank you to the team for working on this over the past couple of days. I really appreciate all the hard work gone into fixing these errors for all us users and for listening to the issues and acting on them accordingly.

    Just want to add, I checked on my hosting account and found we were at 5.2 PHP – I have now upgraded to 5.3 – after doing so I renamed the wp-touch plugin back to its proper naming convention and attempted to reactivate but got a message telling me the plugin had been deactivated to stop a fatal error.

    Hello Steve not my intention to hijack a thread – just trying to say that having same issue as others have stated. Although I understand the reasons, it does seem better to have single threads where users can report the same issue to not overload the forum with lots of topics on the same issue.

    Will start a new thread but hope you can understand why I tried to keep to a similar thread.

    Okay renaming has now helped but can’t have the plugin running at the moment if I am going to get that issue. Is there any idea what coulee be causing this?

    Same Pedro. Have installed and finding things running slow. Trying to get to the Jetpack dashboard is effectively slowing my site down to a snails pace.

    Thanks for getting back to me. Sorry it took me a while to reply – been one of those weekends.

    Anyway had a chance to look at this. The Shortcakes plugin I was using has now been removed and replaced with another – one I use on another clients site and it’s much better imo. I will leave msgs for the other plugins as I can not do without these.

    As for Jetpack – I ended up resorting to completely uninstalling it and then reinstalling afresh – seems to have done the trick (fingers crossed).

    Hello just following up on this as I have not heard back from someone since following the first step. Issue is not sorted and I am worrying about updating other clients Jetpack plugin as I do not want the same issue.

    Also I have since made a change to remove one of the erroring plugins but this has not helped.

    I did send a ticket also on your support contact – I would prefer to post debug info there – I did manage to get something from the the Advanced Debug results tab on the Debugging Centre page.

    Would prefer to keep site details private. Am going to try the debug code you have provided and then get back to you with the results.
