Hello helenmw(@helenmw),
Greetings!
1. Yes, The county option will appear as an optional field specifically for the country “United Kingdom” on the WooCommerce checkout page, as it is a part of UK addresses.
2. It appears there might be a compatibility conflict on your website. To troubleshoot this issue, we recommend conducting a theme and plugin compatibility test on your staging site. Begin by deactivating all plugins, leaving only our plugin and WooCommerce active, and switch to the default WooCommerce theme. If the issue persists, focus on the “Place Order” button, especially when using alternative payment options, and share any console errors with us for further assistance.
Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or need additional clarifications.
Hello @peoniesforspring1,
At present, the plugin does not provide a dedicated feature to hide the “Name Your Price” input field exclusively on the shop page, as this functionality is considered fundamental to the plugin. Additionally, regarding spacing concerns on the product page, the plugin adjusts automatically based on your theme.
Feel free to reach out if you have any further inquiries.
Hello @wonderwooman,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing the details of your setup. Based on the provided screenshots, it appears that you’ve configured the plugin correctly. Kindly verify that the Google API Key you obtained is accurately entered into the plugin settings, and please double-check for any potential typos or errors in the API key. Additionally, ensure that the Google Places API in your Google Cloud console is active and not expired. Also, make sure to enable the billing account in your Google Cloud console, as it is essential for activating the API.Please find the below troubleshooting article for your reference: https://elextensions.com/knowledge-base/troubleshoot-elex-address-validation-google-address-autocomplete-plugin-for-woocommerce/
Concerning address validation, please ensure that the EasyPost API is correctly updated in the plugin settings. Additionally, check for any compatibility issues with other plugins or themes installed on your website, as conflicts between plugins can impact functionality. If the issue persists even after verifying the API and checking compatibility, we may need to analyze API logs. Kindly share the API logs with us so that we can identify any issues with the validation.
Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions or require additional support. We’re here to assist you!
Hello rdbartz(@rdbartz),
Yes, you can check and verify the registration time to obtain your Web Tools API. After completing the signup process, USPS will send you a user ID via mail. Your USPS Web Tools User ID typically consists of a combination of letters and numbers. Upon registration, this user ID grants you access to package tracking, rate, and service delivery standards APIs offered by USPS and this can be passed through the plugin.
Additionally, I’d like to mention that we have ELEX EasyPost multi carrier plugin that supports the UPS carrier as well. The choice of the carrier ultimately depends on your specific business scenarios and requirements.

Hello @peoniesforspring1,
In response to your queries, I’d like to clarify that when you set the product price as “0”, the Add to Cart button will still appear on both the shop and product pages. However, if you leave the price field empty without any values, then the Add to Cart button would disappear. This behavior is a default functionality of WooCommerce.
Furthermore, if you wish to hide the price that has already been updated, you can utilize the Hide Price feature located under the General Settings of the plugin. This feature enables you to hide the price on both the shop page and product page without disabling the Add to Cart button. Please find the below screenshots for your reference.

Greetings from ELEXtensions!
The regular price strikethrough will be visible on the product page because you have selected the discount option without providing any discount value. I would recommend choosing the “No discount” option in the Discount type section within the plugin’s global settings to eliminate the price strikethrough on the products if you are not applying any discount.
Hope this helps! If the issue persists, please feel free to contact us.
Hello rdbartz(@rdbartz),
Thank you for contacting us . Our plugin functions independently from WooCommerce shipping zones. Once configured, you’ll be able to see the shipping rates on your cart and checkout pages. It’s important to note that our plugin calculates shipping rates using the weight and dimensions of your products. Therefore, please verify that all your products have accurate weight and dimension details. Feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions or concerns.Hello peoniesforspring1(@peoniesforspring1),
Thanks for contacting us.
I wanted to confirm with you whether you have configured a product price for your items. This is crucial because the regular price must be established for the “Add to Cart” button to be visible. Once you’ve defined your product price, you can choose to conceal it using our plugin settings.
The “Read more” button you’re currently observing is from WooCommerce due to the absence of any set product prices.
Feel free to reach out if you require any further assistance.

In reply to: [ELEX WooCommerce Request a Quote] Add request button to a custom table pageHello itemvirtual(@itemvirtual),
Once you have set up our plugin, the “Request a Quote” button will become visible on both the shop and product pages. If, however, you do not see the Quote button on the shop page, it could be due to a theme or plugin compatibility conflict on your website. To troubleshoot this, I recommend conducting a theme and plugin compatibility test on your site. This involves deactivating all plugins except our plugin and WooCommerce, and changing the theme to the default WooCommerce theme. After making these changes, check if the issue persists.
I have attached the setup guide for the premium version, but it will be equally useful for the basic version. I hope this information proves helpful! Please don’t hesitate to reach out if the issue persists or if you have any further questions.
Hello helenmw(@helenmw),
- As previously stated, our plugin incorporates the Google API key to directly retrieve address suggestions. Occasionally, if only the postcode is entered, the API might not provide the exact address. Therefore, we suggest ensuring accuracy by including house numbers or street numbers in the address. When using a complete address format like “3 Sharrow Lane, Sheffield,” the API accurately populates the entire address, including the house number.
- In reference to PHP errors, we have released the latest version of the plugin today. Kindly update to the newest version and check for any issues.
We hope this provides clarity! Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you require further assistance.

In reply to: [ELEX WooCommerce Request a Quote] Add request button to a custom table pageHello itemvirtual(@itemvirtual),
Thank you for reaching out. To swap the “Add to Cart” button with a “Request Product” button on a table product page, customization of the template file handling the product table is required. There isn’t a shortcode available for a direct implementation of this feature.Alternatively, you can utilize the Quote Button provided by the plugin, visible on both shop and product pages. Additionally, if you wish to disable the “Add to Cart” button when not needed, you can easily achieve this through our plugin settings.

Hello @webdesinz,
Sure, the ELEX catalog mode and ELEX role-based pricing plugin are both compatible with each other.
Also, We have an ELEX Request a Quote plugin that will help you to convert your store into ‘Request a Quote’ mode for all products, with or without the ‘Add to Cart’ button. The plugin will also send automated email notifications for quote submissions, approvals, and rejections. Once the admin approves the quote then the customer will get the quote approval email with the payment link that will redirect the customer to the checkout page for processing the payment. You can check out the plugin here:

Note that hiding “Add to Cart” based on user roles is a premium feature. In the free version, you can hide it for all WordPress users.

Hello webdesinz(@webdesinz),
Greetings from ELEXtensions!
Concerning your request, I suggest considering our ELEX WooCommerce Role Based Pricing. This plugin enables you to restrict access to the catalog for unregistered users by hiding the cart button on both the shop and product pages.
