Hi @audunbk ,
You can remove that “Photo” placeholder using a small CSS snippet.
Please add the following CSS to your site (Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS or your theme’s stylesheet):
.wpsr-fb-feed-image {
display: none;
}This will hide the image placeholder from the feed.
Let us know if you need help adding the CSS.
Hello @wslover317
Thank you for reaching out.
This issue is usually caused by a lazy-loading feature from another plugin or the active theme. In many cases, caching or image optimization plugins replace the original image source with a small transparent placeholder (data:image/…) for lazy loading, but the actual image may not be loaded back correctly.
To resolve this, please try the following:
Check your theme settings and see if it includes a Lazy Load option. If so, try disabling it or excluding the .wpsr-reviewer-avatar images from lazy loading.
If you are using a caching or optimization plugin (such as image optimization or performance plugins), please check its Lazy Load settings and either disable lazy loading for avatars or exclude the reviewer avatar images from it.
After making these changes, please clear your site cache and check again.
If the issue persists, feel free to let us know which theme and optimization plugins you are using, and we’ll be happy to assist further.
Hi @tatuatu ,
Thanks a lot for your detailed feedback!A quick way to improve page speed when using multiple TikTok videos is to enable image optimization in WP Social Ninja. You can do this by going to:
WP Social Ninja → Settings → Feed Settings → TikTok Settings → Enable “Optimize Images”
Then, in Advanced Settings → Optimize Image Format Type, select WebP.This will serve optimized thumbnails automatically, reduce page size, and improve loading speed.
We’ve noted your feedback and will continue working on further performance improvements—it’s really valuable to us.
Have a great day!
Hello @mdrahul92 ,
The image upload issue in the latest WordPress media upload has already been fixed in our development branch. Regarding the close button color issue, thank you for informing us. After testing, I found that the close icon color only works on the General template, but not on other templates. I’ve already reported this to our team, and they will fix it as soon as possible. We’re planning to release a new version very soon. If you’d like to access the beta version, please open a support ticket on our support portal, and our support team will provide it to you.
ThanksHi @7thcircle ,
Thank you for confirming the settings and clearing the caches. Since the issue occurs intermittently, it might be related to how the feed is being cached or rendered, especially with Redis and page caching involved.
To further troubleshoot Could you temporarily disable Redis/page caching on one site and check if the issue persists?
Thank you for your patience.
Hi @7thcircle ,
Thank you for providing the details. The issue might be related to caching (Redis or page caching) serving outdated layouts. Could you please try clearing all caches (Redis, page cache, and any CDN cache if applicable) and check if the layout displays correctly? We’ll also test with the latest versions to ensure everything works as expected.
Additionally, please confirm that the Number of Posts to Display is set correctly. For example, if you set it to 4, only 4 posts will be displayed. To check this, go to the Template Editor and navigate to: General → Filters → Number of Posts to Display.Let us know if you have any other questions, we’re happy to help.
Thank you.
Hi @7thcircle ,
You can display 4 or 5 images in a single row by adjusting the settings in the Template Editor.Navigate to: General → Template → Number of Columns
From there, set the number of columns according to your preference, and it will display the images in one row as configured.
If the issue still persists after updating the Number of Columns setting, please share your site URL so we can investigate further and help resolve the problem.
ThanksHi @webportal
You can find the access token URL and the full connection process in our documentation here:
https://wpsocialninja.com/docs/instagram-configuration-social-feeds-wp-social-ninja/#3-toc-titleThis guide will walk you through each step to help you connect your account seamlessly. Let us know if you need any further assistance.
Thank you.Hi @webportal
Yes, you can fetch feeds from multiple social platforms using WP Social Ninja, even if you’re not the admin of those pages—depending on the platform and connection method. Here’s how it works:
Facebook & Instagram:
You can manually connect feeds using our Access Token Generator tool—just visit our site to generate the access token.
For example, a page admin can generate the token and share it with you.
However, if you want to connect feeds directly through your own account, you’ll need managerial access to those Facebook Pages or Instagram Business accounts.YouTube:
To display YouTube feeds, you simply need to enter a valid YouTube Data API key.
You don’t need to be the owner of the channel—just make sure the channel is public.
You can connect using the channel ID, username, or handle (@name).TikTok:
For TikTok, the account owner must authorize the connection by logging in through the TikTok login popup.
Feeds will only work for authorized accounts, and this login must be done via the actual TikTok account you want to fetch from.Let us know if you have any other questions, we’re happy to help.
Thank you.
Hi @acris ,
I’m happy to see that you solved this issue yourself.
Hi @ciaoweb ,
Thank you for reaching out! The frequency of syncing new reviews to your Google Business Profile depends on the sync settings. To check and adjust the sync time, please follow these steps, Go to your Dashboard -> Navigate to WP Social Ninja -> Settings -> Reviews Platforms -> Google Business Profile Settings -> Check the Auto Syncing settings. If you need to sync reviews manually, you can do so by: Dashboard -> WP Social Ninja -> Google Business Profile Configuration -> Clicking on the Manually Sync icon.
If you have any further questions, feel free to ask!
