In reply to: [WooCommerce Product Image Flipper] 2 quick questionsHello @jameskoster
Very kind of you to reply so quickly. I will have a look to see if I can get that to work. It is amazing that you are the only person to have offered this feature for WooCommerce to date. So useful!
Well I checked a second time and the page load speed was about the same with and without your plugin loaded. You would however think it would load quicker with your plugin, as we are loading about 500kb less on that specific page with your plugin published. However your plugin does add extra http requests, which is adding to page load speed. I will check this too and see if I can understand it more 🙂

In reply to: [WooCommerce Product Image Flipper] 2 quick questionsOh Apologies! Well hopefully @jameskoster will also give me a reply at some point 🙂
Hello @optimole
I have sent a support message to you now va your contact form.
Hi @optimole
Thanks for your reply.
The reason I asked is that the page I tested is slower when using your plugin, even though it is loading less (less MB). Our hosting is located in Amsterdam, so it is strange that it is loading slower, if you also have a server in Amsterdam as part of your free version. Any idea why? Thanks
Hi @optimole
Great that explains it 🙂Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Smart Slider 3] Making header sliders load fasterMany thanks Gabor. OK now I understand 🙂
Actually I think the issue is mainly on WooCommerce pages. Thats a bit harder to improve on, as WooCommerce is not the lightest of plugins. Have a great weekend !

In reply to: [Nextend Social Login and Register] How many people use this questionMany thanks for your quick reply. So if I check that in the database (which has ID, type and identifier columns) then that should tell me how many people have signed in using those social share buttons since I installed and published it?
Or can people still use these social login buttons without their details being added to the social_users table?
Thanks

In reply to: [Permalink Manager Lite] Unpublishing plugin – what happens to redirects?ahah! OK now I understand. Thanks for explaining.
You were right. There was the wrong Product permalink structure here. Not sure how that happened, but I can see how to fix it….
Thank you for your quick help

In reply to: [Permalink Manager Lite] Unpublishing plugin – what happens to redirects?Hello @mbis,
I compared the options-permalink.php file from the site where I uploaded your plugin, to our live site where we did not use your plugin.
Both files are identical ie the issue is not within this file.
Any other idea what could be causing this? I also have WP Rocket installed, but cleared the cache and deactivated that plugin.

In reply to: [Permalink Manager Lite] Unpublishing plugin – what happens to redirects?Hello @mbis
Can you please tell me on what line of the options-permalink.php file I need to be looking at? In nearly 400 lines of code I really have no idea where I should be looking. If you can give me some more guidance that would be much appreciated.
Thank you

In reply to: [Permalink Manager Lite] Unpublishing plugin – what happens to redirects?Hello @mbis
Thanks for your quick reply.
It is only my shop product URLs which are affected. Previously they had the structure:mywebsite/online-shop/product-name (‘online-shop’ being the base URL).
Now however, after installing and unpublishing your free plugin, the URLs continue to have the structure your plugin gave to them:
mywebsite/shop/category-name/product-name (‘online-shop’ being the base URL).
Can you advise? Many thanks

In reply to: [Permalink Manager Lite] Unpublishing plugin – what happens to redirects?Hello Maciej Bis (@mbis)
When I disable your free plugin, I was expecting the URL structure to revert back to what it was before I installed your plugin, but it has not. Can you explain why this is? How do I get the URL structure to revert back to what it was before I installed your plugin?
Do I need to delete your plugin, rather than just disable?
I can understand if it was cache related, but I do not think it is. I have tested on another browser having cleared cache and still the same issue.
Thanks in advance
