In reply to: [Strong Testimonials] Google captchaPerfect. That works. Thanks also for the ?success=1 tip. That saves quite a bit of time.
Out of interest, what is the best way to find the div class of an item? I use right click, but as you saw it gave me “.short_text”, rather than “.testimonial-success p”.

In reply to: [Strong Testimonials] Google captchaOK many thanks for that. I will check that tomorrow.
I have now set the forms up and sorted the CSS, and once again, excellent work. If only all plugins were as good as this one. Once I am a bit further down the road on development of our site, I will be back for the add-ons.
Quick question – do you know how I centre align the .short_text (the thank you message once you submit a testimonial). I tried “text-align: center” but did not work. I’m not great at CSS!
Cheers

In reply to: [Strong Testimonials] Google captchaGreat.
OK I understand now with the add-ons.It was the markup addon I was interested in, but I see that these you just install once the main plugin is installed and setup.Great. Looks way better and easier to use than the 3 other testimonial plugins I have tried and dumped. Good work.

In reply to: [Strong Testimonials] Google captchaThat’s great and thank you for such a quick reply.
Is it straight formward to upgrade to the PRO version once we have installed the free version, or do we need to delete the free version before we can install the PRO version?
I think you may have mentionned this, but is there any way to import testimonials via CSV etc?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Remove main product image from thumbnailsYes it is a bit silly the main image also appears as a thumbnail, but apart from that their new gallery system is pretty cool. Thumbnails just need to be styled a little bit with soem custom CSS.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Atrribute name not showing frontendSOLVED.
Some plugin (or my theme) was adding CSS to the .label div class, so the attribute name was displayed in white, hence why I could not see it.

In reply to: [Robots Meta Whiz] Pre sales questionHi there,
Well they are not posts but actual pages (website rather than blog). What we would normally do is create a couple of rules that would add various robots information to spefic pages which contained that specific URL string.
But the Selfget has lots of options, not just robots related. Anyhow, might give you some future ideas!

In reply to: [Robots Meta Whiz] Pre sales questionHi there,
Thanks for the reply. Yes wordpress like Joomla, often allows various versions of the same page to be created (different URL endings) which is a real nightmare for SEO. So the best way is to add “no index no follow” tags in bulk to these URL’s (those which you know are not the friendly URL’s created by slugs for example).
In Joomla there was an absolute fantastic plugin caled Tag Meta (with great support):
https://www.selfget.com/products/tagmeta.html
https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/tag-meta/It really was an essential tool for any Joomla site. I am a litle bit surprised/sad to see that no one has created this for wordpress, seeing that more sites are built on WP than Joomla. I am new to WP, but so far have not found anything.
Anyhow – something for you to chew on!

Thanks for your reply.
You know I think the issue is I possibly interrupted the backup before it was complete (I logged out of WordPress), or did something which stopped the backup. So these files were not automatically deleted. But very happy to hear they are temp files and automatically deleted.
Thanks againHi there,
I deleted the files via your plugin, which are created from backing up to a previous version (-old). It seems all the website files (copies) have now been removed from the /wp-content/updraft/ folder
Apologies for my slightly accusing tone in the previous message. I guess I just need to delete all these files if ever I do an update right? Is this just a security feature, so you have access to the files of the previous installation?
BR
OK that’s very interesting. Could be a good option. Right when we get to that stage I will be in contact again.
Thank you.
Great! Thanks again
Many thanks for your reply.
Some security plugins enable you to switch your admin login page to a URL of your choice (which is something I was thinking of doing). Do you think your plugin will be able to work with that? Thanks again
