something is locking my php and then making 25 processes all at the same time.
not the server itsself, not the plugins, it is my db and some script issue.
any thoughts?

script error when clicking on WRITE. Hangs and finally you have to stop the script to use the post box.
Then if you try to publish it, something locks up my php, everything hangs and then I hit 25 processes running on my server which cuts me off and my site is down.
Then I have to get the Host Gator Support to kill my php and myslq to get the site back up.
a friend and I have tested it WITH NO PLUGINS, ON ANOTHER HOST and still get the script errors.
When substituting a different DB the error went away so it is something in my blog DB for http://cuzoogle.com.
any ideas? anyone else having this problem?
WP support forums are pretty hard to find anything.
we are starting to think the blog got hacked.

went back to 2.3 and it was gone.
then did a fresh install of 2.5.1 and it is back
please fix this or tell us how to fix it.

It appears that there is an issue with wordpress 2.5. I’ve tried replacing the original files from wordpress.org for version2.5 on your site and still have the same problem. It appears that the javascript is causing some problems. I would recommend contacting wordpress support by posting on their forums or downgrading this back to the previous version.We have found similar issues reported by other users of wp2.5, http://wordpress.org/support/topic/164276
We have also tried the fix listed here but did not correct the problem. Please post your details of the problems you are having at http://wordpress.org/support/ or we recommend downgrading to the version in fantastico.anyone want to give me a hand?

I read them over a few times and still could not find the “how” of fixing this.
Since upgrading to WP 2.5 I have had terrible problems.
I even had a friend who knows what he is doing, do a clean and fresh install for me.
I have been shutdown 3 times now by Host Gator for exceeding 25% CPU usage. I have very small, personal blogs.
Does this make sense?
The problem from my eyes is happening with some glitch where I am getting a script error when trying to start a new post. Everything hangs and is very slow.
It happens in IE and FF but I can use Safari without it.
Again I have had a few people look into this and they have not figured it out yet.
It is extremely frustrating because it all started when I upgraded. Never had a problem before that.
http://cuzoogle.com is my main blog……it was down for 2 days this week because of the CPU usage. It got resolved enough to get it back up but I still get the script error.

http://michaelcusden.com/are the other two that are currently down for over usage. They only get like 100 views a day.
They don’t have the script error and I am currently trying to find out from Host GAtor what is up.
With the small amount of traffic I get I don’t see how I can be using that much CPU time.
I have tried removing all plugins, trying it out with default theme and the script error is still there.

I am not a coder, I don’t mess around in my backend, I just upgraded to 2.5 and the night mare started.
if anyone has any idea please let me know.
