Hi @metasequoia,
Thanks for reaching out!
We would need to know your domain name to investigate this further.
Can you provide it here or by mail? wpsupport@cybot.com
Hi @kevinz89,
Thanks for reaching out.
Would you be able to set up a demo-site so that we can reproduce the issue?
If you want to keep it private, you can send us a link at: wpsupport@cybot.com.
And it’s up 🙂
Hi @davidanderson,

We are about to release the update as we speak, so hang on in there! 🙂

Hi @andyt1980 ,
You can whitelist the scanners’ IP addresses. See more on how to do so here:
I see (unusual) spikes in the traffic on my website – is it caused by your scanner?
@andyt1980 if you just have links to another website then you don’t have to do anything. The website you are linking to has to ask for proper consent once the visitor enters it.
You can check what trackers we found on your website through the cookie report: https://manage.cookiebot.com/goto/report – if there are any tags doing tracking, you can mark them up as described in step 3, to ensure prior consent GDPR compliance.
Hi @andyt1980,
Yes, that should be possible. It depends on your configuration.
Could you explain the use-case?
Hi @manni65929
It is possible to withdraw consent from the cookie declaration page. See this article for more information:
If you want to implement something custom, you can pop up the banner anywhere by calling Cookiebot.renew(); and to withdraw manually, you can call Cookiebot.withdraw();
More information about the API is available here:
In addition to previous post, you can check how we’ve done it here:
https://www.cookiebot.com/en/gdpr-cookies/
If you scroll down to the video, you’ll see a button to change your consent.
Regards!
Hi @ninsoeh,
We’ll go ahead and mark this as resolved for now.
Thanks for reaching out, and sorry for the delayed response.
If you are using GTM, then the triggers may be necessary if you want prior consent to work on cookie-setting script tags inside GTM.
If it’s too confusing after reading the docs, I would suggest that you reach out to a developer or one of our resellers, they would surely be able to help you.
Also, take a look at the prior consent tutorial:
Hi @mantraagnes,

You can translate your cookies into different languages in the Manager.
https://manage.cookiebot.com/goto/cookies
Click on the cookie text and it will be editable.
Hi @taratoo
Thanks for reaching out!
It seems that the website in question does use Cookiebot, thus the cookies are set. We can see that Cookiebot is used because the banner appears when loading the website.
Did you remember to update your cache after uninstalling the plugin?
Hi guys,
Sorry for the delay. We made a release yesterday with a fix.
Let us know if you still have any issues.
Hi @ninsoeh
Are you using a caching plugin, and have you refreshed your cache after checking “Hide cookie popup” ?
