I’m marking this resolved. 🙂
Ohhhh. I see. I missed that option line.
Thank you so much !!!
KarenI tried that and it didn’t seem to work. I could have done it wrong, though. I’ll try again. Only right now my pages are Invalid because an old htaccess file was enabled by a hosting tech.

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] 39 pages with Critical Issues today…It’s all my pages. They are being invalidated by Google. It’s because an InMotion Hosting tech put an old htaccess file into use instead of adding GZip to my file what worked with AMP. Sigh.
I think the errors will begin to go way tonight with the correct htaccess file being reinstated.
Thank you 🙂

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] 39 pages with Critical Issues today…When I ran GTMetrix on May 29 it said no GZIP was working, so I called InMotion Hosting. The tech I got was not very helpful, so say the least, and to “fix” the problem he renamed my current htaccess file to a very old one. Then, the next day I got the Critical Errors. So I called tech support today and had them undo what he did, only there were 3 htaccess files and I’m not sure the one that got made current is the best of the three…
I’ll have to wait till tomorrow to see if the AMP errors go away.
🙂
Wow, thank you.
🙂Hi Max,
I’m so glad you posted this. I’m experiencing the same thing. In my case I changed some pages yesterday, so I thought it was something I did. But then I saw that some pages with issues had not been changed.I’m sorry you’re experiencing this, but I’m so glad to know it’s not just me.
Thank you for posting. 🙂

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] invalid AMP pages showing up…I put in only Custom AMP ads, in both this page and in Fingernails-2, and it still tested Invalid.

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] invalid AMP pages showing up…Google shows the above page as no longer a valid AMP page. I didn’t make any changes to it yesterday…
However, I did work on b12-malabsorption.
Besides adding links yesterday, I removed Custom AMP ads because they were showing up on Desktop right next to my Desktop Adsense.
Maybe I should have left the Custom AMP ads and removed the regular Adsense???
Are you aware of this problem???

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] Redirect from Full site to AMPThanks. That’s fine. I don’t approve comments anymore since I learned that they can contain viruses or something. I think if I put two paragraph breaks in, it will make it display properly.
Thank you for explaining 🙂

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] okI think you must be a troll. What you say you experienced is so vastly different from my experience that I feel you must be making it up for some unknown reason.
the other thing is that nearly all my traffic is from Mobile Users. When I look at RealTime Overview in Google Analytics there is one desktop user and all the rest, as many as 13 at a time on a good day, are all Mobile users. So it’s easy to think that “all” traffic is switched to AMP.
I do have redirection to AMP on, because the user experience is vastly better with the added speed.
Also, with redirection to AMP on, people using tablets get the AMP pages and their speed.
