Hi @vonjanne
The lost password tool is a WordPress thing, not s2Member. We don’t have a replacement for it.
I don’t know if that would go to the spam, though.
Regarding the email address, which did you use for your WP installation? WP Admin > Settings > General > Email Address
Does that help? 🙂
Thank you, Richard! You made my day. 😀
Hi Pao.
There’s a button encryption setting in PayPal and s2Member. They need to match, s2 to encrypt it and PP to accept it.
WP Admin > s2Member > PayPal Options > Account Details > Enable Button Encryption
PayPal > Account Settings > Website Preferences > Encrypted Website Payments https://www.paypal.com/businessmanage/preferences/website
🙂
😉
😀
Thank you for the update. I’m glad you sorted it out!
🙂
Hi Richard.
Can I see s2’s shortcode for the PayPal button? Can I see the page with it?
🙂
Hi @webberater
Do you use s2Member Pro? It sounds like something I just helped someone else with. Did you update the s2Member Framework, but not the Pro add-on? Could you verify that you have both updated to the same version?
🙂
Gotcha. Thanks for clarifying it. 🙂
Hi guys.
Here’s a link to my reply to this in our forums: https://forums.wpsharks.com/t/new-european-regulation-for-online-payments-with-stripe/5585/43
The s2Member Framework is not affected by this, though. Just clarifying it for others because this forum here is for the Framework only.
🙂
I didn’t think or imply that you work for nano support. You said “want to use it with nano support as well.” But I don’t know what that “nano” you’re referring to is, so I’m hoping you could point me to a page that explains it.
The example page you linked to above https://foodbooking.uk/submit-ticket/ gives me a 404, so I couldn’t see what you wanted to show me there.
🙂
Not sure why that’d be, I haven’t seen that happen to others or me yet.
Could you do some troubleshooting to help narrow it down to what’s causing it?
Is the s2Member upload complete, or could it maybe be missing some files? You can try re-installing it. (First verify that you have the Deactivation Safeguards enabled. WP Admin > s2Member > General > Deactivation Safeguards)
Then, to check if it’s caused by something else, you can test deactivating other plugins and changing the theme to the default, and check after each if the problem goes away.
I look forward to your update. 🙂
Hi @lordsnake
I’m not sure I understand. What is nano support? The link gives me a 404 so I couldn’t see it.
You mean the Custom Profile Fields, right? WP Admin > s2Member > General > Registration/Profile Fields
And where are they not being displayed right? wp-login.php?
The fields are a serialized array in the user meta table, so if you’re using something else to get them but it doesn’t know about the serialization, they’ll be displayed wrong.
Is that what you mean?
Hi @vonjanne
Yes, that’s perfectly possible.
Just create the user in WordPress, and give him the WordPress role you want (e.g. s2Member Level 1) and end-of-term date (optional).
And you can edit his profile any time you need to to adjust access based on future payments or lack of them.

Hi @hungperet78
Giving the whole product, full of good things, a score just from a single thing you didn’t like, seems a bit unfair… :/
What were you trying to achieve? I would love to help you achieve what you want to do with the plugin, if you let me. 🙂
