In reply to: [CoursePress Learning Management System] Units cannot be savedI haven’t received any help with this issue and continue to struggle – and lose business. After our recent CP update, the Quiz plugin does not work, and CP settings are all corrupted. i now have a tech team trying to figure it out, but cannot imagine I am the only one with this issue. I would like CP to interact with the tech team to help find a resolution, if possible. Thanks, Barb

The quizzes are multiple choice, usually with 4 choices. I have one question in each quiz with one choice only. ” I will complete and submit my Evaluation form. Answer Yes!” Some of the courses in my 300 series classes have text essay questions, also.Forum: Plugins

I have a few doubts. I am taking course 301. I have read all the texts and answered quizz 1. As I didn´t see any sign of confirmation regarding having submitted the quizz, I answered it again, with the exact same answers. I then found, when I checked my email, that I had been given 2 different grades for exactly the same the same quizz: 91.3 and 86.96. I don´t know how to explain that.Also, I didn´t understand what I failed so as not to have an 100% mark and would like to know.
Question nº 22 , about Rosa´s tray confused me because the instruction tells us to name 1 (not many) sandplay figures and/or elements of her tray indicating a centering in her process. I indicated 1 as asked. But then,is , above, there is a space for comments. Should we name all the other figures and/or elements we saw that indicate a centering in her process? Should we explain why?It is not clear so I didn´t answer that, only went by the instruction and named one.
I haven´t submitted the 2nd quizz yet but your email says I´ve completed the course and only need to complete the evaluation form. So there must be a misunderstanding. I am looking forward to answering the 2nd quizz so I may deepen my knowledge of the process and have Dr. Turner´s comments.
Could you please explain my doubts? I am used to other e-courses but I guess all are different , so we just have to adapt to each one. I will be thankful to hear from you and have these doubts cleared.

It appears that nothing has happened. The same is true for Course 101, which tends to be a very active course.Such reports are essential to managing my program. I do hope you can help with this. I come from several years of Moodle use and would greatly appreciate having some features such as are available with that software: 1. the ability to log in as a student to see what they are experiencing when they have a problem 2. Work logs, to see what they have done, what the results have been, etc., for each course.

1. When you go to a course and click “SIGNUP” a registration window pops up. If you already have an account and click on “Already Have Account” nothing happens.
This is a bug in a current version of the lite version of the plugin. The default behavior is login form opening in the same popup. I’ve reported this to plugin developer.Barb- Thank you.
Quizzes – When you click “Submit” nothing happens. Students click multiple times sending many copies of their quiz results to us.
Could you please add more info on the unit where this is happening. Which elements have you added there, are they set as mandatory etc. Posting screenshot of the unit in backend would be awesome.Barb- Would you like access to my Dashboard? That is fine with me. http://www.barbaraturner.org

We don’t use the CP built in payment platforms, but use our own. Thus the classes say “FREE.” We need to override that somehow.
Could you please add more information how are you charging for those courses so and what you’re looking to display there so I can better understand what you’re trying to do.Barb- We use a PayPal Merchant account, so make payment links to that account, instead of using the built-in options.

page 1 one photo
page 2 text
page 3 photo
page 4 text
page 5 photo
page 6 textThis way the elements of the unit can be re-arranged.

In reply to: [CoursePress Learning Management System] Media MadnessThanks so much, Vallivals. Yes, this really does need some work. However, I did figure out a solution last night. For each segment of the Unit page I made a separate mini unit. I don’t know what to call it, but what I did is this-
after creating the unit I opened a mini segment by choosing either “text” or “photo” from the choices offered across the top of the mini. If the first part of my page was text, I opened a text box and entered and formatted the text portion. If a picture follows, I opened a second mini with”photo” and loaded the picture. When I had three views of the photo, each went into their own separate mini. Then another for some text, more for illustrations, etc.
For my single Unit page, I have 8 minis. This keeps the material stable. A good thing is that the minis can be reordered by dragging up and down. It works!

Worst part, I cannot get rid of them. I select the photo, delete, then save. Voila! They are back again. Nothing works. This is wasting a lot of critical time in course building.
