Thank you for reporting this. We will check into it today.
Thank you. All fixed in 2.0.7 – the issue was a bug in IE 6 – IE 8 and how they translate line breaks into white space for text areas. Basically had to make a workaround to not use innerText or jQuery.text() , but it should behave now in all browsers.
Try out 2.0.7 and let me know if that fixes it for you.
Could you visit this page: http://www.whatbrowseramiusing.co/ and have it email me your browser/OS details? aaron {[at]} gowebsolutions.com
I’ve tried Windows 7 with IE, Firefox, Chrome and cannot duplicate the issue, so I’m kind of confused as to what is causing it.
I did add a possible fix in 2.0.6 , but without being able to duplicate it on my end, I’m not sure if it did anything or not.
It will be fixed in 2.0.6 – I’ve never releases so many versions in 24 hours before 🙂
If you come across anything else, please let me know.
If you type in a line break, does it do the same? Or is it just when copying/pasting in the field?

In reply to: [WP Customer Reviews] [Plugin: WP Customer Reviews] Rating stars don't workFound the issue.. WordPress (on some themes ?) is inserting a

or a
every time it encounters a line break. This was causing some really odd issues, including what you experienced.I’ve added automatic minification to the plugin output, which will fix this from happening.
Test out 2.0.3 and let me know if that fixes it please.

In reply to: [WP Customer Reviews] [Plugin: WP Customer Reviews] Rating stars don't workI’ll check it out later tonight or tomorrow.. Been a busy couple of days with the new versions. You could always try it out on a default WP theme and if it does work, then you know its a theme issue. I love making workarounds for all those issues, so I’ll get it figured out one way or another.
Thanks for the report.
I’ll check into this again, but I did extensive testing with editing reviews and it wasn’t stripping out line breaks for me. Very odd indeed.. I’ll do some more testing when I get a chance.
Try to edit the review with line breaks and save. When you save and it switches back from edit to view in admin.. are the line breaks still there, or are they gone instantly?
Also, after you edit, refresh the admin page and see if the line breaks are there or not. It uses two different processes but I did my best to preserve line breaks.. very weird.
Let me know if you can do any debugging to product the problem again so I can test.

In reply to: [WP Customer Reviews] [Plugin: WP Customer Reviews] Add multiple pagesThe same concept.. each review is tied to the page id in the database. The 2.x release took plenty of hours with all of the additional changes, but it turned out to be a very good change.. Let me know what you think of the new version when you test it.
Fixed in 2.0.1 – thank you very much for pointing this out.. A lot had changed and I missed testing the activation process. silly me!
You’re welcome and thank you!
The date is entered automatically and is required for the microformat.. Not really a way around that.. but the good news is that the date can be edited to whatever you want via admin. Just view the review and click on the date to edit. Easy as that!
2.0.0 will hit the servers in a few minutes. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the multiple page implementation, which also paved the way to add in hProduct reviews, since thats the only review microformat that makes sense for using multiple pages.
Check it out and let me know what you think.

In reply to: [WP Customer Reviews] [Plugin: WP Customer Reviews] Use custom post typesHi Adorei,
2.0.0 has been released and can use multiple pages. It does not use custom post types, but is a huge improvement. Let me know what you think.
Location can be added with custom fields now. I totally forgot to do the gravatars on the front end, but I will try to sneak that into 2.0.1.
As always, remember to rate the plugin 5 stars on the directory, and be sure to mark that it worked for you and your wordpress version. Donations are always welcome to encourage future development and just keep my happy in general.
