Hi @zepolo
Thanks for following up here.
I’m not sure if we have access to the premium version of Rank Math for debugging this. I have requested that the developer provide a status update today, so that we know what’s happening.
Sometimes, there is a backup in support issues where a delay like this cannot be avoided. At times like this, we appreciate your patience.
@zimbo000 I see what you mean. That’s because as a logged in user, the name and email address are automatically captured from the profile.
Hi @zimbo000
I see all of the contact form fields on both the dev and the live sites and I am not logged in. Not sure if that helps.
Hi @zimbo000
Thanks for getting back to me on this.
The changelog contains information on the things that were changed but not the specific code that was added or removed. In our most recent release, it looks like a change we made had some unintended consequences for the display. I’m sorry you were affected by that!
I had a look at both of those listings and didn’t see a significant difference aside from the title not being shown on the live listing and the return to directory link missing. Those issues are being addressed in our next version.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or issues!
Hey @zimbo000
The developer has suggested that the following CSS code should address the issue. Can you please try it and let me know? We’ll include it in our next release:
.wpbdp-listing .listing-title.show-listing-title { display: block; }Hi @crallsasbc
Thank you for reaching out about this. Yes, the plugin strives to be ADA compliant. If you run across anything that isn’t, please do let us know!
Kind regards,
~Bobbie
Hi @zepolo
Thank you for reporting this! I’ve handed this over to our developer to have a look to see how we can address this issue. We appreciate your patience!
Hi @tsbweb
Thank you so much for trying to work that out. Let me get a developer to take a look at what’s happening here. Thank you for your patience!
Hi @tsbweb If you are using the Elementor-specific shortcodes in your listings as described in this article, then the premium module is required. If you’re not, it could be a theme or plugin conflict. The Elementor builder is working on our test sites and not displaying code, so this is likely something with the setup on your site.
Theme and plugin conflicts are very common in WordPress, and a conflict test is used to help determine the cause of the issue. Here is an article about how to test for theme and plugin conflicts with Business Directory, which may help pinpoint the issue: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/knowledge-base/how-to-check-for-plugin-and-theme-conflicts-with-bd/
Before doing a conflict test, it is a best practice to take a backup of your site before beginning or to do the test on a staging site, in case any settings are changed during the process.
Please try that and let me know what you find.
Hi @tsbweb
Thank you for reaching out about this. I’m sorry to hear that you ran into issues with Elementor and Business Directory Plugin.
Have you purchased the premium modules? Those are required for our integration with Elementor. You can learn more about setting that up in our Knowledge Base here: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/business-directory-elementor/
If you have purchased the premium module and still cannot get it to work, we would like to troubleshoot this issue with you further.

@gennifer1 Thanks for letting me know. If you can contact us directly, I believe the developer may have a fix for this, as another customer reported this the other day.
Hi @gennifer1
I’m sorry to hear that you ran into issues with this!
This plugin should not slow the performance of the site, but any new addition to the site could have an impact. Adding ANY code to a site, whether it’s our plugin or not, can have an impact. The performance of a site is based MORE on the hosting hardware, and the other plugins you may have installed.
The best practice would be to DEACTIVATE and DELETE any plugins you’re not using at all. And any plugins that aren’t critical to the site should also be removed. Too many plugins can cause issues, as can conflicts. A conflict test may determine if a single plugin is causing speed issues. We have instructions for that here: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/knowledge-base/how-to-check-for-plugin-and-theme-conflicts-with-bd/
Another thing to check is the size of your images — very large images will definitely slow down the directory – under 150kb is best. We have recommendations for images sizes here: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/knowledge-base/appearance-tab/#Image_Size_Recommendations
Additionally, you can install the Query Monitor plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/query-monitor/ and determine what the top slow queries are. If you are unable to decipher those results, you can send those in and we’ll have a look.
Finally, it’s possible that something else is going on. If you’ve tried these things and you’re still having speed issues, we would like to troubleshoot this issue with you further.
Please contact us directly and include a link to this forum thread here: http://businessdirectoryplugin.com/contact/
Best,
Awesome, I’m so glad you were able to figure that out and get it working! Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.
Hey @swcomm
I’m sorry to hear that you ran into issues with this! Please make sure you are using the latest version of Business Directory Plugin, which is Version 6.3.1.
You should see the plan information in the Listing Information meta box on the right of the listing. You can see a screenshot of that here: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/knowledge-base/add-new-listing-menu/#listing-information-meta-box
Please try that and let me know if you run into more issues.
