Hi @weiching-lin,
Thanks for your message. This has come up before but I believe it was due to the memory on the server running out when sending to a large number of users, as opposed to a task that BNFW wasn’t completing.
Can you provide me with a bit more information about BNFW, such as which notification this occured on, and how many users you were trying to send it to?
Hi @maxheadspace1,
Sorry, I think this has been posted in the wrong forum.
This forum is for the Better Notifications for WP plugin.
The forum you’d need to ask this in can be found here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/bp-group-chatroom/Hope you find an answer to your question.
I can’t seem to replicate this.

Hi @matthew0400,
Thanks for your reply. The link is a simple HTML link which should just work. Some email clients interpret links differently and depending on what you’re using, this could be the issue. For now though, can you post a screenshot of what the link looks like with the domain name redacted?
Hi @kalimzaaa,
Thanks for your message.BNFW doesn’t offer this functionality unfortunately.
The notifications are only sent via email and there’s no store of what notifications were sent to populate a notification bell area.Sorry I can’t help more.
Hi @patbell101,
Thanks for your message. This usually happens when another plugin or the them is overriding this notification’s message body.
Are you using any Membership or eCommerce plugins that may be doing this?Hi @patbell101,

Thanks for your message.Yes, you can use the ‘Text’ tab on the message body when editing your notification and use the following code:
<a href="[password_url]">Click here to set your password</a>Let me know if this helps.
Hi @lukasolta,
Thanks for your reply and for the kind words about the plugin.I understand your situation.
As there are so many ways a user can enable/activate their account with different plugins, it’s not easy to get this notification to work with all plugins. Additionally, the password setting/reset feature can be overriden so it’s difficult to cater for.
For clarity, this email was included to allow for different shortcodes and also caters for if another plugin handles the new user registration emails but the site admin also wants to send important information at the time of registration, which they can use BNFW for.Sorry I can’t help more at this time but hope you find a good solution for your use case.
