Hi @ralf-r,
Thanks for the screenshot.I can see the notification is there and looking correct. I just need to know more about what you want to do with it.
When a new comment is published on your site, this ‘New Comment’ notification will be sent out.
This is to alert anyone about this. It could be the post author, or everyone in the Administrator user role, or someone else.
Can you tell me who you’d like to send this notification to so I can point you in the right direction?Hi @ralf-r,
Thanks for confirming. Can yousend me a link to a screenshot you’ve taken showing what this notification screen looks like for you?
Hi @ralf-r,
To clarify, can you tell me which notifications you’ve created using BNFW 1.9.8 via the Notifications > All Notifications in the WordPress Admin?Hi @ralf-r,
Thanks for your message. Can you tell me which BNFW notification(s) you’re using?
Hi @rodman38,
Ah, in that case, you may find my other plugin, Content Notify, a good fit.
Please note that I can’t answer any questions about it here, but you can reach out to me via this link instead: https://contentnotify.com/contact/Hi @rodman38,
Thanks for your message. Are you able to clarify a bit more about your use case? I should then be able to make a suggestion as to what you might need/need to do.
Hi @joeyboi,
Thanks for your message. You can use the Conditional Notifications add-on to set which user roles the user moves between in order to trigger the User Role Changed – For Admin and User Role Changed – For User notifications.
More details can be found here: https://betternotificationsforwp.com/downloads/conditional-notifications/Please note that I cannot answer any questions relating to the add-on here due to WordPress.org rules, but you can ask a pre-sales question here instead: https://betternotificationsforwp.com/contact/
Hope this helps.
Hi @joeyboi,
No problem – glad you got it working.Hope you enjoy the plugin!
Hi @madhavipekamwar,
I’m sorry, I can’t help with this specifically – this forum is for the Better Notifications for WP plugin.
If you need WordPress specific help, the forum you’re looking for can be found here: https://wordpress.org/support/view/all-topics/All the best!
Hi @kiwidesigncp,
Thanks for your message.Unfortunately, BNFW has some known compatibility issues with WooCommerce, which are caused by WooCommerce. As such, it may be that BNFW may not be a good fit for you for this specific use case. This is becuase WooCommerce does a lot of updates and saves in an atypical fashion when products are created, purchased, etc. and BNFW can’t work out when a notification should be sent or if it should be sent at all. BNFW will work with some of WooCommerce though, although it changes so much it’s hard to give a difinitive list of notifications that do work.
Sorry I can’t help more with this at this time.
Hi @weiching-li,
Great! I’m glad it’s now improved. If you like BNFW and the support, please feel free to leave an honest review.
Hi @weiching-lin,
Ok, thanks.Did this error occur again after you remove and re-installed the plugin? Or was it just the first time you installed it?
Hi @weiching-lin,
Thanks for continuing to test.In case of a blip somewhere, it may be worth clearing transients (or more specifically, any BNFW transients) on your site using something like this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/transients-manager/
After doing so, please let me know if this occurs again.
