in the latest Dropbox backup and restore plugin versions (1.3.x.x) you can see the correct path to the files or folders, where the plugin has not enough access permissions.
Please, update you Dropbox backup and restore plugin up to latest version and correct the access permissions.

PS: the backup folder like “Dropbox_Backup” you can find inside “wp-content” folder.

1. Read carefully the second answer in this thread;
2. There are two possible ways to make the restore very easy:- restoration via using http://www.webpage-backup.com backup, restoration, duplicating, cloning and migrating web services (paid service);
- instead of your broken WordPress to install a new one, THAN install Dropbox backup and restore plugin, THAN make a restore (if needed, connect your dropbox storage before). This is free way.

We are updating the stable tag with lifting up of version ONLY, if all of our users must update the whole plugin.
In most cases this is a bug fixing, security issues and new features.I don’t wish to be angry with the developer.

You could find other way to report about your problem.
And now – “after fight don’t wave fists”.I understand he is proud of his work and a bad rating is upsetting.
I’m glad, that you understand this. But then why you do this?
If the problem with pushing unannounced changes is addressed I would be happy to give this plugin a 5 star rating.
For you information and maybe also undestanding: now we have a few people, who threaten us with a bad rating, if we don’t add some features for the plugin. And I don’t know, maybe you one of them. What should I think after your review? Just think about that.
If there is a problem, then solving of this problem must be not here in review.
