In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] updated to Version 5.2.2 – Geolocation still not workingYour issue is likely due to cached JS files. Please clear your browser and site cache. Then, set the GeoIP Database Source field to ‘Use the JsDelivr’ and click ‘Save Changes’. After the page reloads, click on ‘Update Database’.
Additionally, we are actively working on resolving issues affecting some users and will soon release a new version to address them.
Thank you for your patience while we resolve this issue.
Regards,We tested this scenario with PHP 8.3.7 and WordPress 6.5.5 and did not encounter the same issue.
Could you please check if the error still appears when all plugins, including SlimStat, are deactivated?

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] updated to Version 5.2.2 – Geolocation still not workingHi @soolee
This issue is due to an incomplete download of the GeoIP file.
To resolve this problem, please go to Slimstat – Settings – Tracker and select “Use the JsDelivr” in the GeoIP Database Source field. Then click on Save Changes to save the settings.
After saving the settings, click on Check Database next to the GeoIP Database Source option to verify if there are any issues with GeoIP. If you encounter an error message, click on the Update Database button next to it. After updating the database, click on Check Database again to verify if GeoIP has been properly reloaded.
Please let me know if you have any further questions or need assistance.

We apologize for the initial misunderstanding regarding your issue.
Based on the discussion in the following link, the first recommended solution is to bypass the overview from cache/proxy:
https://community.cloudflare.com/t/cloudflare-blocking-wordpress-rest-api/378792Also, please test the Bot Fight Mode setting in Cloudflare to see if it affects the issue.
Additionally, since the issue appears only in Firefox, here are a few settings to check:
- Clear cache and cookies.
- Disable extensions temporarily.
- Set Enhanced Tracking Protection to Standard.
- Check for mixed content blocking (look for a shield icon in the address bar and allow mixed content if prompted).
Thank you for your suggestion and your understanding. We hope these steps help resolve your issue. Please let us know if you need further assistance.

To display the country and city of your visitors, follow these steps:
- Go to Statistics -> Settings -> Data Sources.
- Enable GeoIP Collection and GeoIP City options.
If they are already enabled, click Update next to each option to update the database.
Now, new visitors will be displayed along with their country and city.
Please let me know if you have any further questions or need assistance.

Basically, it’s a notice to inform you that your database has accumulated a significant number of records. This is a common occurrence, especially as your site grows and accumulates more data over time.
While your database can store an unlimited amount of data, it’s worth noting that having a large number of records might impact performance in the future, particularly if your site experiences high traffic.
You can dismiss the notice if you prefer, and to stop receiving email notice about this, you can disable the Database Pruning Alert option in Statistics – Admin Notifications.
Please let me know if you have any further questions or need assistance.
