Please update to latest plugin version first and if that doesn’t solve the issue, please answer the following to help us to debug the issue:
1. Browser version on which you are facing the issue.
2. Does the issue occur on all browsers or only a specific browser?
3. PHP version (You can use plugins like display PHP version that display your PHP version on the WordPress dashboard)
4. WordPress version
5. PHP error logs
6. List of plugins installed on your system
7. Operating System version(OS version).
8. Browser console log error generated at the time of the error. Steps to get the console logs:- Open the Console window in Chrome using Ctrl + Shift + J (or Cmd + Opt + J on Mac) Follow this for reference.
- check the console log errors at the time of the issue
Send us the screenshot of console log as it is by sharing them using any 3rd party image sharing tool.
9. Web server version(apache/nginx)

Link_id is used for tracking mechanism and it’s not allowed to leave the link-id empty or to copy-paste the same shortcode keeping the link-id same at both places. You have to generate a new link-id for every shortcode that you use.

The error: “You are submitting requests too quickly” is due to throttling. This has to do nothing with this plugin update. Please check if you allowed request count has reduced for any reason. You can write to Product Advertising API by filling form at https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/home/contact/ and select Product Advertising API from the subject.
We are already using caching that caches an Ad generated from shortcode with maximum TimeToLive(TTL) of 30 minutes as per Product Advertising API Operating Agreement.

The issue is because “Your WordPress server is blocking requests to “webservices.amazon.com” either due to some firewall setup by you or due to some restriction by your web-hosting provider. Please remove the same (may be with the help of your web-hosting provider) to use this plugin. Feel free to reopen this thread in the case above doesn’t fix this issue”

We are not able to reproduce the same issue on our end. This might be a transient issue due to partial/incomplete update. Can you please try again updating the plugin(you can try on on your development stage) and let us know if the issue still persists.

We will surely assist you. The line no. mentioned by you Line 66 in amazon-associates-link-builder.php does not even exist in v1.8.0. It seems to be some transient issue during update. Can you please try again updating the plugin and let us know if the error persists? If yes, please answer the following questions to help us to debug the issue:
1. How are you updating the plugin? Are you using some other tool/plugin to update amazon-associates-link-builder(AALB)?
2 Browser version on which you are facing the issue.
3. Does the issue occur on all browsers or only a specific browser?
4. PHP version (You can use plugins like display PHP version that display your PHP version on the WordPress dashboard)

Can you please specify the issue in little more detail that you are facing for US & CA?
Also, if its an issue that API not working for US & CA, please try out the following:
- Go to Product Advertising API scratch pad and click on ItemSearch Operation on left. Select the marketplace for which you are facing the issue and using your access key & secret key credentials, please check if you can get results from ItemSearchAPI.
- If the above gives an error message, follow the troubleshooting procedure link in the error message shown on PAAPI scratch-pad.
