Hi @poonam9, Thanks for your reply.
I tried adding a second PPOM field to a product, but without success.
Wat I did is to Select Products -> my product -> PPOM Tab
There I see a popup to add a PPOM meta to the product. But there’s only one pull down and it reads “Create New Meta” below it.
When I click that I can create a new product meta. But even after doing this, on the product itself I only have one pull down to add the PPOM meta.

And if I add it through the “Attach to products” in the PPOM settings, it replaces the existing.

I guess what I am missing is the manual pages to add a second set of PPOM meta to the same product, as the obvious ways don’t let me add more than one.
Thanks – Alex

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Image switch on FIRST variant selectionYou are saying, this is expected behavior.
I am saying it’s not good enough imo.
Off course, ideally, we should take pictures of every possible combination of articles. Nevertheless I think that the mechanism could be, that the system is looking for the first possible match and then displays that image. Because sometimes it is not viable to take images of all combinations.
I am not good at programming. But from what I understand, the current solution is waiting for all parameters to come in. I think it could actively look for possible solutions while the different choices are made by the customer.
For instance, if one has 3 sizes and 5 color variants, but only photographs the different sizes, the system could change to the image of the chosen size and ignore the color choice altogether.
Thanks for considering!
Thanks for the tips. I disabled it in the UI and I sent the client instructions to set it up again.
Let’s hope that works for him.
Hey Beatrice,
Thank you for the info.
This looks really good. The self hosted videos from your link actually are shareable with the correct preview thumbnail. However, when I click the share icon while the video is playing in the lightbox, no thumbnail goes through. Just a gray box with the link.
Which is fair. I discovered on my research about this that FB tends to ignore what it is fed (pun intended). They cache things and most of the times don’t look back.
I have a solution in place with which we will run for now. Depending on how the project goes, I will re-visit all options and rebuild the galleries again.
Thanks again & Cheers,
AlexThanks. We have to see where this project goes. We decided to go the path of least effort and we use sharing provided by the platforms, for now.

In reply to: [OG — Better Share on Social Media] Conflict with SEO pluginThank you Marcin!
Time pressured me to go another way for now. I will embed the videos and use the sharing capabilities of that platform.
Once we go back to self hosting, I will re-visit.

In reply to: [Social Media Share Buttons & Social Sharing Icons] More icons :)Never mind. Just hit the “many more” in the plugin.
On the round icons (default) it’s not. But on the “flat squared” it was.
But, I just tested it and it’s because I entered “#” as the link and not a real facebook link. I guess.
You are saying that in premium I can disable that?

Hey Nick,
Thanks!
Yup, using the round buttons does not show the popup stuff.
Or is it because I entered “#” as a placeholder link?

In reply to: [Social Media Share Buttons & Social Sharing Icons] Link not workingHey Nick,
Thanks!
I figured it out. I did not realize that the settings were never saved because I did not enter anything in the facebook slot, as it is in development as well…
Now that I have entered “#” there, the youtube works.

In reply to: [OG — Better Share on Social Media] Conflict with SEO pluginEdit/Update: I installed it. Seems that it’s forwarding the first image it finds. In my case the favicon logo. But also no SEO conflict as far as I can see.
I don’t see how I could add a featured image to a video. So I guess this is not working in my case.
Hi Bryle,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I was moving hosting provider. Same domain name, different db name and db admin name and password.
I achieved moving it (finally).
What happened is that WordPress got into maintenance mode, because UpdraftPlus did not finish restoring. Once I learned to delete the .maintenance file, I was able to get back into the WP backend and restart the restore. I then restored plugins, uploads and others separately and actually got the website back. pfweeeeeehhhhh!
So, it is possible to move a site from one provider to another with the free version. UpdraftPlus does also adopt to the new database settings. But the file restoring process did not build a lot of confidence in UpdraftPlus to be honest.
But I got the job done. And I am thankful for that! I will keep an eye on the development of UpdraftPlus in case BackupBuddy goes totally stale. But for now it’s working again on the new hosting.
Thanks again and best,
AlexHi @nmedia, That’s awesome! Thanks for considering!
Thank you for getting back and sorry for my delay.
I know that it is in the cart and checkout.
But would it be possible to add the price in real time on the product page itself while the options are configured?
On the link I sent you the customer can choose the size (grösse) of the bouquet and the color. The price is updated depending on size. Then the customer can choose to add a greeting card through the settings in PPOM plugin. But that additional price is not added on the total above the PPOM drop down.
I am aware that this might be a feature request. But it would be very handy as the customer is always aware of the total product price without shipping.
@oluisrael thanks for chiming in finally. If you’d go through the tickets, you see the problems documented and explained with screenshots etc.
Off course it would be a good idea to fix those issues. But I am not concerned anymore with this since I switched to another plugin. Also documented in the tickets.
I do understand that plugins offered on here are free, some with a paid PRO version available. So I can see that for some developers it is a side project and the time they can invest in support is limited. That said, it is more so important for us users to find plugins where issues are solved in a timely manner. That IS the main reason, for me at least, to then consider either donate some coin or consider buying the PRO version.
